Every time TurboTax 2009 starts, it asks me if I want to update the software via the internet. I select 'No' and then my firewall warns me that TurboTax 2009 is trying to connect to the internet. Thanks for listening TurboTax 2009...
Al Gore, Obama... who's next? Nothing against them but this Peace Nobel prize has turned into a celebrity contest. Could this prize be awarded to a "nobody" who works hard every day in his/her community, where ever on earth it is, to make the world a better place?
Soon after announcing that it acquired Mint, Intuit started rolling out exciting new "features": (1) Mint no longer updates my checking and savings accounts, (2) my credit card account was supposedly updated a few seconds ago but it does not display any charges from the past 10 days, (3) Mint does not respond to my inquiries.
Mint is useless without any transaction downloads. I am afraid the time has come to move on to something else. Does anybody know what this something else is?

I bench-tested a Motherboard/CPU sytem and the CPU fan spins but nothing else seems to happen (no bios POST on screen). How can I tell if it is a motherboard or a CPU problem? Would I see any message on my monitor if I just bench test my motherboard with no CPU (graphic adapter is built in to the motheroard)? Thanks in advance for the help.
