Stephen & Ken, It is both a great location and a lot of pixels! my D800 is 36 megapixels plus a 300mm lens means you get to see a lot. And Starmama, they told us 200 feet up and my guess is they were right, it was really close. We didn't know where it was and then suddenly it appeared from behind Hanger 1. The hanger blocked my view for a bit. I was focusing on the F-16 that was over the runway, then heard the crowd and turned a bit to see it coming from behind the hanger. - Ken Gidley

Watched here in Sac from the top floor of a parking garage near Capitol Park. Lots of folks up there watching as well. I don't think much was accomplished in state government today. - Corinne L
