So I'm leaning towards something to do with Neighborhoods. I'm not sure how many neighborhoods everyone else has in their respective areas, but I'm assuming this could work to some level everywhere. The run down...
The project would be a 52 project (one image every week). I would visit a new neighborhood every month, re-visiting each neighborhood every week of that month. The name of the project would be something like "My Surrounding Neighborhoods" - that will keep it broad enough so if you don't have multiple neighborhoods, it still incompasses yours. How does that sound to everyone??

If neighborhoods == communities, I think that'd be cool.

a neighborhood can be whatever you want it to be.

And output is intended to be? What are the thoughts on display? Will it be a constant addition?
- ThePicMan
Output would be one picture a week (52 project). Haven't 'figured out the display yet...was thinking about setting up a new Tumblr or WordPress blog with everyone as a contributor, but what I'd REALLY like to to setup something like this: http://tokyo.polaroids.jp/ Just don't have time to figure out how to do it. Additions would be every week. We could either pick a day to make submissions or everyone can pick their own day of the week so we aren't all posting on the exact same day.

Could also be a Flickr group w/restricted membership.
- Tammy Green
Can you restrict a Flickr group to read only? I suppose you can.

I came across this: http://tinyurl.com/5lkx8y Unfortunately the site was down. But we could certainly do a spin on the same concept. Maybe we do a combination of "Street Corners" and "Drive" (http://tinyurl.com/5nw6e4) in a particular neighborhood?

A Flickr group is a great idea. I was also thinking about setting up a WordPress or Tumblr blog that displays the last X # of post where X is the # of people involved in the project.
- Justin Korn
I'd say a WP blog and we each have our own accounts. An author page for each photographer and a deadline to sign up.
- Bryan Villarin
I'll set something up on my server (unless anyone else wants to take charge). Please send me any links to some awesome themes (ones I don't have to mess with much)

Are we assuming everyone works or has worked w/ WP? I'm a Typepad man myself, but currently us WP as a contributor to the Moleskine City blog. Just wanted to make sure everyone is WP savvy. Flickr is just as easy, but then again, I work for Yahoo.
- ricky montalvo
I'm thinking there will be a Flickr group setup ontop of the blog. I don't think WP is too hard to figure out for those that have not used it before...but if you are scared of WP, do speak up :)
