And don't forget the variation for the night crew with the N and C sign afterwards =) Josh, no lie, I was thinking of exactly this last night. Get outta my head!

We throwing up signs now?!! It's Like That?!! hahahahaha!!!!!
- Anna Haro
I am SO not an expert on signs. My fingers can barely bend enough nowadays. Just trying to get some ideas out there. Let's see some more from everyone. Rahsheen's fault, he brought it up last night on a video.
- Josh Haley
Those first two will make people think you are throwing up "Bloods".
- DO ANYBODY NO MONIQUE
I think the only course to go here is to pick something directly from sign language.....I don't want anyone to bust a e-cap in my ass
- Rahsheen ™, Coach of FF
Monique - THANK YOU for that because I would never know. I too am not in need of a cap-busting.
- Josh Haley
If you want a real ASL sign, let me know what word/words and I'll find it!

Rochelle, One for friend, feed and confess(ion)

That's nothing like the Blood sign (which is the coolest gang sign ever). Working from that, can anybody spell "feed" with their fingers? The night before the inauguration someone managed to spell "OBAMA," it was beyond awesome.

My question is... where are these pockets of negativity? I believe the article I did was an overview which accurately praised what they had done well and suggested what it was/was not. Others were more aggressive, yet my post got lumped in. I believe I have been equally analytic for FriendFeed, highlighting the weak and strong.
- Louis Gray
FriendFeed solved a problem for me in 1) Enabling a place to aggregate my activity from around the Web and 2) Enabling me to follow other people's activity in one place. No other site does it better, period.
- Louis Gray
The other spectacular function of FriendFeed is it is a searchable archive. I can find Tweets, for example I Tweeted early last year. Nowhere else can I find them!
- Tom Raftery
I wasn't thinking of you, Louis. In fact I wasn't thinking of anyone specific*. It's more just this vague sense I get that seems to come partly from folks just not getting what they expected, whatever that might be. [*Ok... I was thinking of Scoble a little. ;-) ]

Ken... I feel it's a mixture of not knowing what Google Wave fundamentally is and the baggage of other application or services... I seriously listened to someone compare Wave to Outlook...

Plus Louis' post was te best I've read today (and I read a lot)

Thanks Johnny. I knew I wasn't going to win on speed, so I made up for it in verbosity. ;)

Facebook allows you to gossip with your friends when you're in high school and college, or reconnect with them if you're out of school. Twitter allows you to broadcast your thoughts whether or not anyone wants to hear them, from wherever you happen to be, and it allows you to search for things that are happening right now. What does Wave allow you to do?
- Cristo
Maybe Robert Scoble was a bit harsh in his critism that it was too noisy.. got that idea but I could be wrong..
- Jaap Willem
You've got to use Wave for what it was meant for: collaboration. If you don't have a project, or folks interested in something specific, you'll end up with a lot of noise and virtually no signal.
- tagami
Well, I'm not particularly excited about it, so it will probably do really well. ;)
- Cristo
I think they went the wrong way with Wave, in developing an interface at all and/or in making it public. They should have stuck to pure protocol development. Make that rock solid, make a working server, get federation going properly... then let other people build apps using it. Because I can see the backend idea being useful in a lot of ways, but everybody is going to judge it based...

New expansion for WoW: Cataclysm seems rather ambitious. All existing zones are completely revamped and will now include flying mounts in original zones. Cap raised to 85, much more.

Those are probably the same employers who want to make sure you don't smile in the workplace either. God forbid you might like actually what you're doing. How would they get off on bossing you around then? ;) *HI EMPLOYERS!* :)

is there a chapter called Action Stations?
- WorldofHiglet
okay, so they use that in the navy rather than the air force....but it's so cool I thought it might be in your book hehe - I found this link http://www.actionstations.org/ and obviously I have seen a few too many war films....

It's great fun when you can find someone who's really into it.

wow..it's been decades since I played Squad Leader (and the first module, Cross of Iron). I think they are in the basement somewhere. Never played ASL...then computers came along...

"Mr. Penske, 72 years old, outlined a car company that will outsource production, using deals with auto makers such as GM and France's Renault SA, to fill out and replace the now five-model Saturn portfolio." - With Renault outsourcing, does this open the door for the betterplace.com model of a battery exchange network?

I discovered the game via a blog. I and a friend I drafted have followed most of the clues from JI and Elsewhere but are stuck at finding a tooth.
