- Mike

Jazz FM goes national on DAB | Jazz FM - http://www.jazzfm.com/2011...
So it is true to say that for the most part, 80kbps mono will sound, from a coding perspective, better than a stereo 128kbps service as we’re always using the full bandwidth to deliver the audio and not the stereo image difference (except during originally mono sources such as speech where it’s true to say that the stereo service will sound better than the mono one). We appreciate that this is a matter of personal experience and some listeners may find a mono audio signal to just “be worse” than a stereo one, whatever the science of encoders and decoders. - Mike

OK, let’s put that clean film in the holder. This is where you want to take care to align the frame edges carefully with the edges of the holder or you will lose parts of your image. Also, don’t touch any part of the visible part of the film with bare fingers. Scanned finger prints are obvious and HUGE. - Mike

One of the underused and certainly under appreciated features of Mac OS X are Smart Folders. If you aren’t familiar with Smart Folders, they essentially let you create a virtual folder that uses search operators from Spotlight to let that virtual folder contain any and all files that match the search requirements. - Mike
