I recently spoke with a school board about modernizing their curricula and using new online tools to network with community and disseminate. All they've heard about it is the stereotypical inane tweet "I'm getting in the shower now". They don't quite "get it". I'm not evangelizing Twitter per say (go Yammer!), but I am continually finding myself trying to help people "get it" so they can make organizational decisions. I worry they'll watch this video and fortify their underestimation of socialmedia. - Ryan Stanley

All burglary tools are illegal. If they think you are carrying crowbars and bolt cutters to break in somewhere, they can arrest you. Of course, there are legitimate purposes for those tools, too. Lock picks are just for picking locks, so you better have a really good reason for carrying them if caught (e.g., you are a locksmith). - Brian Hawthorne

this is really pretty appalling to watch. i assume standard dial combo locks are harder to pick. as for the tools, meh. making them illegal is hardly sufficient to protecting users w/ these types of locks. - MikeAmundsen

The combination lock was the easiest. Under one second. The last one required three tools and was a little more fiddly than the rest, which were all done in a couple seconds. Scary. In other words, you can't really put your trust in locks. Makes you wonder what kind of locks you _can_ trust, if any. - Rick Cogley

Dukeswharf - Vimeo does have issues from time to time. I use them as well because they seem to be more reliable and the video load/playback is much better. But they still have work to do on reliability and speed. - Brian Roy

It strikes me that there's a bigger problem with broadband in this country than the video sites themselves. The bandwidth just isn't there to upload them in a reasonable fashion, and it's only *barely* there for playback. Blame Comcast, Time Warner et al. - Eric P
