I'm speaking about Podhawk again but why ? since the last version it has a a facebook app that's very easy to get runing, you just need a API key and basically follow the instruction in the podhawk wiki, it's a 10 min "mise en place" and then you can have your own podcast in a facebook tab, users can then share it right from app in facebook.
users can also copy a URL from your podhawk install, paste it into facebook and it will be parsed with a image, the facebook player, and a link to your own site, isn't it nice ?

yep this service is really great :) the only hic for me is i' have been going trough some weird problem with the player on myspace and my website, so i decided to stick with the JWplayer, this way i host the player, the mp3 episodes, and no more downtime ever !

It depends. I sometimes will fast-forward through music just to get back to what the host says; other times it's the other way around. And still other times, I just let it play.

Neither, especially. Community, if anything, but honestly, I just see them as people of varying sorts and types and personalities and so forth. Not sure I'd have much time for anyone who sees people in general as "competition."

There are so many out there now, the competition has been lost by all, back in 94 when I started there was, but now so it's community, especially the independents.

Um, I basically don't. Once in a blue moon I glance at Feedburner or just my download stats out of curiosity.

The Feedburner plug-in for WordPress, combined with a CNAME change on the server level, seems to give me a fairly decent read on subscriptions. It's picking up everything - including iTunes.
