»[…] the heady rush toward production was halted by a studio suddenly confronted by plans for something artier and more complex than bargained for.[…]« - because the world needs another "thinking man's sport" movie like I don't know. Good riddance to another Pitt vanity project where Good and Evil come to a head on a baseball pitch.

I thought the judges' comments were needlessly harsh, and didn't take into account how well they danced within the limitations of the choreography/costumes that they had no choice in. I'd never before called in to vote, but I called and voted for them b/c I really enjoyed the dance and think they deserve to not be in the bottom 3.

I really liked it too. I think Caitlin may be finally coming into her own.

I love being able to discuss these even if we disagree. I liked this dance, it was fun and they both did a good job, but I didn't feel it was great. I didn't feel like either of them took it to the next level or added anything. They just danced it well. I didn't think any of the dances this week were bad, but this was the least exciting to me.

i agree. i loved the emotion of being scared during the dance. jason did a great job being afraid of alien.

Looks like another one of those "gonna be great but hard to watch" ones

good (maybe a tiny bit spoilerish) description of the opening scene by the director at http://www.nytimes.com/interac... -- they apparently used a Phantom camera by Vision Research to get 10,000 frames per second. more 10,000 fps clips of various things here: http://www.visionresearch.com/index...

It's unbearably suspenseful, but there isn't much gore if I remember correctly.
