虽然宣布了将在年内对Windows 7提供正式支持，但在竞争对手的大喜之日，苹果还是不免要奚落一下。当地时间22日晚，苹果在美国各大电视网推出了三档新的“Get a Mac”广告，直接瞄准Windows 7。最具代表性的一则广告名叫“Broken Promises”（背弃承诺）。
