I love the old texture and slight discoloration of sepia. It's also pretty cool how shallow the depth is on such a wide angle - Dustin via Bookmarklet
Hmm. Given that the rest of the photo is so processed, think the DoF might be too? - DeWitt Clinton
oh. It's all totally processed. And yeah, the depth, it's more likely that it was processed but you can do this with a perspective changing lens, or even a lensbaby.
Nevertheless, there are two schools of photos, processed, or straight out camera. And I can appreciate either when done well. - Dustin
Agreed. It's a neat effect, if somewhat disconcerting, either way. - DeWitt Clinton

"Warranty?" How about just basic courtesy, or pride in your own product? I know those aren't qualities usually ascribed to large corporations, but corporations should still aspire to be thought of having them. - Dylan Bennett
They nullified my warranty since it was purchased from Ebay (regardless of it being brand new). But hello, what about 1 year factory warranty regardless of where it was purchased! And they can't claim I haven't had it for more. The D700 has only been out for about two months. Ugh. So frustrated. I justified the estimate since it was such a small amount in comparison. - Dustin
agreed. The fact that it's now being used as convincing evidence is driving me nuts. It's just a big cop out. Instead we just get "I'm just sayin'" - next time I hear this I'm gonna be like "that's just your opinion man!" - Dustin
I love how trends arbitrarily annoy and inspire people. One person's delight is another's grievance. Do people really use these for actual rhetorical argument? The joke is that it is a cheap rhetorical trick -- a disclaimer -- not a serious attempt to more the conversation forward.
Alternatives:
"I'm just putting it out there."
"It was just something to say."
"[Evan Martin's "Just sayin'" shrug - non-verbal communication!]" - Brett Lider
Yeah. it bothers me when "just sayin'" is used 'passive aggressively.' When it's obvious that something is a joke, or in good humor, I'm definitely down with that. - Dustin
