I agree, I keep my OPML jumping everywhere through different readers. But will still give tiny-tiny-rss a try. Liferea is nice, but can't handle my big list.

My goal is to create an RSS reader where I can experiment with dozens of different user interfaces and get feedback from users. Later on, I might use data from Google Reader, and the stats of my own RSS reader assuming that enough people are actually using it. I might even add in FriendFeed integration.

rss2imap lets you use any mail client as an interface if that works for you.

Apart from the interface, i was thinking how no rss reader is intelligent enough for me. I just love some advanced features (maybe clustering of similar articles, something like that) and, of course, social features. Are you planing on writing a web based reader, or a desktop application?
- Mladen Srdić
I'll be releasing a new desktop feedreader soon called FeedLynx. I've created a C# version that works like a champ but now I want to write one that's in C++ and cross-platform.
- Akiva Moskovitz
I am not in favor of desktop based readers. I love accessing all my feeds wherever i am. If you plan on integrating it with GReader, then that's pure win. By doing that (GReader + FriendFeed + other stuff) you enter the Feedly turf. Tough competition, but i believe you'll get your share. Good luck.

Mladen. It is interesting to see you mention "maybe clustering of similar articles, something like that". We have been working on this specific problem for about 9 months now and should be able to starting showing some of the fruits of that work later this month as part of the beta 2 version of feedly. If you are interested in kicking the tires and giving us feedback, please send me an email to edwink@devhd.com.
