3500 dollar bikes! The Google bikes are about $80 (and these are fancier than the old ones). I'm not sure I believe that cost number, but even at $350 they are probably expensive. And of course there's massive repair costs even without vandalism. I have no idea who came up with the "no more than 4% damaged/stolen" number in the contract. - Alex Power
