Obama needed to just point to McCain and say "My definition of rich is YOU. YOU are rich. YOU ARE RICH. YOU HAVE NO CLUE HOW PEOPLE LIVE."
I was a little disappointed that Obama didn't actually define what he considered rich... I guess it was the 5% that will see their taxes increase under his plan. - Lindsay
but he didn't - John Prieto
He said everything but the actual word 'rich'. Over 250k - Capn' One Eye - adrift
His tax plan lowers taxes for all but those over 250k. - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
I really hate the wealth envy that Obama and people like him are fomenting. - Joey Gibson
Explain yourself, Joey. Please. - ::Kristen::
Joey, the entire middle class lifestyle is built on wealth envy. It is, in fact, what's driving this current economic crisis: people buying bigger houses and incurring more credit debt than they could afford. This isn't something being created by the Obama campaign - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
+1 Tina. But I want a president who's willing to rein in the credit industry, because it's a good bit responsible for the mess too. - Cyndy
I still wish Perot had won ;-P Tina, I do hope you realize just about every politician has wealth or power envy. It is, however, powers greater than a president that creates the perpetually self-feeding "goodies-lust" we have always seen. It is indeed the American people who have to wake up and begin taking responsibilities for their own actions outside of politics before anything can be fixed within the political or business system. We use our $$$ to vote the loudest... that is how we send a message. - Ken Stewart | ChangeForge
Bahahahah. Sorry, Ken. Worked for a former Perot company. You don't want that man running the country. EVER. - Cyndy
Yeah, I had some questions on him and never saw them answered... He didn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence. - Ken Stewart | ChangeForge
