As far as I can tell there is no way to do this yet.

I couldn't see any way to do that either - hopefully they will add that feature sometime.

We'll it does show that icon next to the title with the smiley faces in it, I assumed it could be changed like our avatars.

no, all groups have the same icon and there's no way to change it yet in admin. Hopefully they'll add the feature.
