Apparently there's a reality show about that startup Earth Class Mail! http://www.hulu.com/start-u...
@thegreattiny actually that might not have been my first moving violation...
The eventful nature of XMPP and the fact App Engine likes webhooks suggests their XMPP API will probably use webhooks
Apparently AppEngine Task Queue doesn't actually run tasks without manual button clicking (wtf?). Here's a hack: http://pastie.org/531953

I think I would prefer it if PubSubHubbub was just called PubSubHub. The spec and tech is primarily about the hub anyway.
What are some major awesome events that happened to you so far in 2009? #awesome09
@adamlindsay twitterhooks.com
@robinboast Right, well I think only a small % do, sometimes intentionally, sometimes not. But as society we could be so much better
I hate people that complain about things not being new. We're TERRIBLE at extracting value from the past. Easier to circle jerk in the now..
@_abi_ that was pretty awesome ... but i still find value in the book.
I can add local trending topics to Twitter, just like I added webhooks to Twitter. Debating whether I should ...
Nice post on the RabbitHub project about PubSub via webhooks: http://www.lshift.net/blog...
It would be cool if Twitter had local trending among just your friends.
PostBin just got pretty-printing for JSON (http://www.postbin.org/pt2luc) thanks to @dlsspy -- yes, I deploy your changes. Get to forking!
"did you get a webhook notification of me adding the project?" @anotherjesse

Looking for Pythonistas to work with me and other smart people at NASA on cloud computing tech to revolutionize NASA and gov't
@_abi_ what's your idea? :)
Apparently I know enough people that know Jimmy Wales that Facebook is suggesting him as a friend...
@zh Would you be ok giving it your user/pass to get friend updates? Re pubsubhubbub: I felt the same, but it's not that bad.
Bummer to hear that guy thinks it's too complex. Any insight into why? The whole point is to make it simple for publishers and subscribers, so I'm not happy to hear that. - Brett Slatkin
My point is that it seemed complex from the outside. It's definitely much simpler than I thought and compared to other systems, and probably as simple as you can get given the topology of distributed hubs. I also almost responded that the interface for subscribers *is* quite simple (a lot of the complexity of the protocol is in implementing a hub, which not everyone will be doing). - Jeff Lindsay
Relatively complex ;) Compared to watercoolr for example. Maybe I'm just too lazy. Need to RTFM again and again... - Stoyan Zhekov
Cool no worries. - Brett Slatkin
I'm writing an RSpec test suite for PubSubHubbub that can be pointed at any hub ...
