I needed to install logwatch a OS X machine for work, and i figured i would just document the process. curl -o logwatch.tar.gz ftp://ftp.kaybee.org/pub/linux/logwatch-7.3.6.tar.gz tar xzpf logwatch.tar.gz cd logwatch-7.3.6/ sudo bash install_logwatch.sh At this point just use all the defaults sudo cp -r conf/* /etc/logwatch/conf/ sudo cp -r scripts/services/* /etc/logwatch/scrits/services/ Thats is... logwatch is installed as you can see by running sudo logwatch (cias staff at this point look to our internal wiki) Now you just need to tweak your /etc/logwatch/conf/logwatch.conf file to suit your needs Also if you want it to run everynight at midnight put a script in /etc/periodic/daily

We're going to see "A Christmas Carol" in Digital 3-D at AMC Tysons followed by lunch at Todai. Should be alot of fun. :)

oh man! Todai!! :D Sweet. I keep wanting to go to the one here in VA, I've only been to the one in Vegas and it was very good. Tomorrow I'm going to Matsuri in Herndon with my brother and some friends. Should be nice, last time I was there I felt that the quality was good for the price.

I'm just hoping we can start various project and development waves between my co-workers and I at the office, and other waves for fun (where to lunch in DC? next LAN party or online gaming?) Out of my office, only one person is on Wave right now. Out of ten friends, I think only 2-3 have Wave. It's still very slow to roll out... kinda reminding me of PlayStation Home in hype, potential, and slow invites. :)
