@clarencesmith it was only with Snow. It's weird cause it worked with my 3G but not the 3Gs with 3.1.2 firmware
ok so future ref, don't use Snow to unlock your iPhone. you will loose WiFi

damn now I have to restore and NOT unlock this time and that means resyncing...... shit
