@robinlayfield but how deep is the cat's leg? The standard 5 inches?
so far the official cat-leg length is 5 inches. I delight in the fact I have a spreadsheet called Catleg_Survey.numbers

@andypearson hmm, I did back leg, as cat was running away. And only up to leg pit but it's clear this needs more thought.

@rachelandrew agreed. I made Random's leg 4.5 inches, but he wouldn't stand still. I think we need a twitter survey to find the standard
has traumatised Randomcat, but the snow is officially 1.5 inches deeper than a cat's leg-pit
