The murderer thing shocked me, but not enough to replace the filesystem thing. I think I was still rockin ReiserFS even after ext3 came out.

for years people asked if I was involved in ReiserFS in I interviewed in opensource shops ... now they want to know if I knew Hans / Nina...
- Sean Reiser
What do you do, Sean? So I have something else to connect the name to :)
- Rahsheen ™
Meh. ZFS FTW! But, yeah, I tend to think of blood and guts first. Sorry, Sean.
- Victor Ganata
I'm a system's architect, developer and tech manger... so not much of a difference
- Sean Reiser
When I see Reiser, I think of Mad About You.
- Mark Wilson
Nope you're not the only one, the first thing that comes to mind when I see Reiser is filesystem. Then secondly I remember the author has been accused of killing his wife and is in jail. If he gets a computer in jail, does that mean he has more time to improve his filesystem?

I know that LonelyBob was just being sarcastic but if a developer is arrested for a non-hacking crime, isn't working on open source software the 21st century equivalent of making license plates?
- Sean Reiser
Reiser has been convicted, after admitting he did it and showing them where he buried the body. He's now after a retrial, though, for some reason. ReiserFS is still decent, if not as up-to-date as it might otherwise be. btrfs ftw, tho. ;)
