Steven Perez to Steven's feed, Random Time Lords, The Amber, Penguin
Listening to the rough cut of Episode 3. We sound pretty decent. Actually, Amber sounds like Mumbles, I sound like Blur from the old Transformers cartoon, and Penguin sounds too cute for words.

Or with a crappy HP laptop mic. Or with a new not-crappy mic that isn't properly plugged in to the mic jack.

I've got a headset and it works great. Especially now that I realize I had been plugging the mic into speak jack#2 rather than into the actual mic jack. Don't hate me, I've already confirmed that this is a common stupid thing HP owners do.

Actually, we've got a bluetooth setup for our helmets. Dave has the main unit and it connects to both his phone and the GPS. I have the secondary unit that connects to his, so we can talk when we're on the bike.

MDV: I've had the podcasting discussion before. I've got nothing consistent to talk about, and even if I did I'm too lazy to actually bother with the editing and other post processing required.

It is. Right now, we're having guest hosts sit in, because most people have never done a podcast before, so we're just trying to get their feet wet. If someone is crazy enough to stick around with us for more than one ep, then we'll go from there.
