What's your favourite movie score or soundtrack? (perhaps just one song)
I love all the atmospheric scores likes Clint Mansell's 'Lux Aeterna' from Requiem for a Dream and John Murphy's 'Surface of the Sun' from Sunshine. I'd love to know of any more similar pieces of music? - Kol Tregaskes
Mishima soundtrack by Philip Glass comes to mind - Rodfather

Hilary and Jackie, Crazy/Beautiful, Brother Bear - Shevonne

I'm just testing to see if the FF comments plugin is working and wether this will show up - Rory
Kol Tregaskes
is going to try and set-up the other FF comments plugin, which is here: http://www.gurkanoluc.com/friendf...
I'm going to try that one as well the first one i tried didn't work - Rory
And guess what? This isn't working either. There is something very wrong with my site or with my host. Neither FF Comments plugins work, the Fresh Fresh From FF/Twitter doesn't import any FF-specific posts and Lifestream plugin is struggling to work. Do anyone of these have anything in common? - Kol Tregaskes
Is that a WP site, Kol? I couldn't get any of the FF comment plugins to work on any of the Ning sites I part of, which is quite irritating because it works really well on my Blogger blog. EDIT: I see you're trying to use the 'comments' plugin on WP. The plugin I have tried is the FF widget (found under 'tools') and it works on Blogger but not Ning. If you get your WP one to work let me know 'cos I have a WP I'd like to us it on! - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
I've got the 2 widgets working and have them both in my sidebar. Yeah it's just these plugins. :-( I'm trying to hardest to get them to work, especially one of these FF Comments plugins as it will mean I can post from my blog but still interact with FF. - Kol Tregaskes
@Kol is it only on new posts? maybe you need to post a new item on the blog - Rory
Rory, yeah I'm post a new post every time I try the plugins or change something. I'm starting a completely new WP blog, adding only the FF Comments plugin, nothing else then testing that. - Kol Tregaskes

No Photography, These Animals Are Highly Sensitive
They don't shoot lasers out? Are you SURE!? ;-) - Jordan Hofker
Can I get a laser to put on my Nikon? Might come in handy if I need to defend myself. - Tom Kimmerer
Thomas, your Canon may not shoot lasers, so perhaps you should check out Nikon if you want that feature. :P - Kreg Steppe
Could they have mistaken laser for an auto focus assist light - Rory
In all fairness, that laser was most probably just the autofocus assist lamp, which I suspect even the 5DII has and many people don't even know they can turn it off. It might not kill the fish, but it can scare them. - michele
What about the lasers on the freaking sharks' heads? - Alastair Montgomery
Actually, a permit system wouldn't be a bad idea (if it was free and without prejudice). I always consult the museum/gallery staff before firing away but still suffer the sideways glances and farrowed brows from the attendants. At least at the point of entry, the policies could be stated clearly before an incident could occur. - Johnny
But what if I shoot lasers out of my eyes? When I'm taking a photo, surely the laser is going through the camera and into the fish, right? o_O - Robert DeBord
Michelle, actually the 5D or the 5D M2 do not have an autofocus assist lamp. - Thomas Hawk
Maybe they should have signs prohibiting laser pointers, in case a teacher brought a class there on a field trip. Otherwise, I don't run across many lasers while I'm out and about in a museum. - William Beem
On a recent holiday I shot at Underwater World. Although I knew it was ok, I asked the reception about photography. The lady said "That's fine, just no flash photograhy". I asked here why and she replied "Honestly, cause it won't work. The light bounces off the glass and ruins people's photos. We use to get complaints about it all the time"... She also mentioned that by the time the light penetrates the glass and the water, it is no brighter than the fluorescent light bulbs they use to light the tanks. - Johnny
ahhhh. the aquarium. i remember 2 or 3 laides were so busy telling us NOT to take pictures (even though we did not use a flash) -- that they missed the beauty around them. its too bad, really. - Plug1
In general I agree with your post. But most cameras do use this auto focus assist light. On many cameras it is red or green or something other than white. Nikon uses a white light that is quite bright. My brother & I were shooting a fire juggling tightrope walking guy in Key West last year. Before he got on the wire he told everyone not to use a flash. My brother wasn't planning on using one but the autofocus light really bothered the guy and he about attacked him before I showed him how to turn it off. - gfurry

What bags/backpacks do you all use to hold your gear? I'm going to look tomorrow on my lunchbreak, and have been partial to Lowepro stuff in the past. Something like a backpack would be ideal. Thanks.
I just got a Kata 3N1-20. Look it up, it is awesome. - Nick Humphries
It's a bit big but I love my Compurover AW from Lowepro. Doesn't really scream "laptop and camera in here" http://products.lowepro.com/product... - Andrew Smith
I should add though, it's not the most convenient to access the camera. - Andrew Smith
Lowepro SlingShot 100 AW is what I have. Will not cover you as far as a laptop is concerned, but I am very happy with the product and the company. - JA Castillo
Lowepro SlingShot 100 AW and a Lowepro Nova Mini AW. I use the SlingShot when hiking or doing a dedicated photo walk. The mini is great for places the Slingshot won't go (like museums, they tend to not like the slingshot since it sticks out behind you). - Benjamin Golub
Thanks, guys. Will make a note of all of these when I head over to the camera shop. - Derrick
I second the Lowepro SlingShot 100 - Carlos Granier-Phelps
I'm not a big backpack user since camera-dedicated backpacks tend to be big, bulky things. But my boss just got the Kata Sensitivity-V (http://is.gd/jnM7) which I think is great. It's just too bad it can only fit up to a 12" laptop. - ronin
the Crumpler bags are really nice. I like the courier bags myself. - John Ford
I have a LowePro Computrekker Plus AW backpack that fits all my camera gear and my laptop. I have not taken it out walking around and don't know that I will because loaded it is heavy. I just it got it for Christmas with it's main purpose being transporting everything on trips. I have also have a Tamrac 3380 Aero 80 Photo/Laptop which is what I typically use for walking around. I leave the laptop out (just makes it heavier), hook my little point and shoot case to the strap (for quick easy access), stuff - Becca
pens, notebooks, cords, kleenex, etc. in the top half, and can fit 3-4 lenses with my body in the padded camera area. My 100-400mm is a tight squeeze but it does fit as long as it's not mounted on the body. - Becca
I am a big travel compact fan -- I have a LowePro Off Trail 1 - http://products.lowepro.com/product..., The Off Trail 2 is a bigger bag but similar. I like it because it sits up front where you a can get at the camera quickly. As small as is, it holds my D50 with a 28-70 2.8, a 70-300, a 50 1.8, my Peleng fish eye, plus extra battery and other small accessories. I take the it biking, skiing and hiking. - Brian Sullivan
I just bought the Lowepro AW SlingShot 200 from Costco, but haven't had a chance to travel with it. I used to have the Crumpler Sinking Barge and didn't like it, you can read my review here: http://www.amazon.com/Crumple... - Roshan Vyas
I'm using a LowePro CompuDayPack. It holds my camera, 3 lenses, macbook pro, power bricks, lens cleaning crap, a small tripod, and random junk. I carry it everywhere; it's a great bag. - Jeremy Brooks
I recently bought a BBP bag (bbpbags.com) because I like a messenger bag form factor for its size and flexibility. However, a normal messenger bag doesn't work for me because the weight on one shoulder is too much. The BBP bag (I got a Hybrid Hampton in medium) combines a messenger bag with convertible backpack straps. Their design claims to be better for your back, but I haven't really... more... - Cheryl Jones from BuddyFeed
Check out Think Tank...they're designed by photographers for photographers and they have a large inventory of different styles. I don't own one (yet) but am looking into one for plane travel to carry my camera gear and 15" MacBook Pro - Susan Dennis
I got one of these http://www.amazon.com/Kata-KT... a Kata DR467, plenty of poclets and storage for camera lenses flash etc as well as personal items and a laptop section. - Rory
My main camera bag is the Tamarac Velocity 7 (http://www.tamrac.com/5767.htm) I like it because it is uncumbersome and does not scream camera bag. I can comfortably fit my Nikon D50 mounted with a hefty telephoto or wide angle plus a couple more lenses, memory cards, lens cleaning cloth and solution, moleskine, pen, batteries, card reader, leatherman, and my digital audio recorder. - Ben Greenberg

Weather report for the UK, how much snow has everyone got? Did anyone try and get in? What's public transport like in London?
Kent is covered!! :-) And it's just started to snow again. Kaz had a great time on his walk, loves the snow. :-) - Kol Tregaskes
Trains are delayed around Kings X and the tube is pretty screwed. Where I am in Leeds there's about 3 inches of snow and public transport is running fine. - Andy Murdoch

The sea? No, that surely can't. - Kol Tregaskes
West London is all white! I've heard It's gonna snow heavily this afternoon - Manuela
That's what I'd have thought Kol, but I suppose if it's a calm inlet it's possible. - Nicola Quinn
I'm surprised it's settled on the rocks here, you'd have thought the salt would have melted it. - Nicola Quinn
It's bad isn't it. Am actually entering into the non working spirit of the country at a standstill today even though I work at home anyway. - Nicola Quinn
Central Scotland is covered, too: http://rbonini.smugmug.com/photos... - Roberto Bonini
Nicola, yeah why not. Let's all go out and have a snowball fight. ;-) I've already had one with my dog. He tries to catch them in his mouth but the snow is too soft. - Kol Tregaskes
have a friend in kent with a picture of a ruler up to 7" in snow - we have about 3" in the low parts of West Yorkshire - Iphigenie
Took me three hours to get on a normally half an hour journey as most public transport is screwed. It's transfer deadline day and therefor busy for me (i work on football related stuff) 2 of my team can't get in so it was necessary I got into work - Rory
Rory, well good on ya for trying, there was no way I was getting up to London in this weather. SE and Southern trains are cancelled in most parts. - Kol Tregaskes

looking for a restaurant for valentines day in a couple of weeks...any recommendations? (in London pls! :) )
What kind of food you looking for? Salvador and Amanda for Tapas if you like that sharing kind of thing, it's a basement restaurant, quite dark but you normally share tables so not overly intamate. It's just off Charing Cross Road, Near L Sq tube. - Rory
Il Portico on High Street Ken near the movie theaters. Cozy mom and pop Italian place run by their kids. Eat their quite a bit when I'm staying in the area but haven't been in about two years now. 277 Kensington High St London, W8 6NA, United Kingdom 020 76026262‎ - Andrew Leyden
I'd also recommend the Cinnamon Club, and also Benares in Berkeley Square, the 6 course 'grazing course' is amazing! Take plenty of folding though ;-) - David Peacock
thanks so much for the recommendations guys - really appreciate it - Zee.
Zee, restaurants are such a rip off on V day. They all work feverishly to push as many people through as possible. Fixed menu and in my opinion, reduced service. Plus all the people make it less than a romantic experience. I belive the better way to go is to either fix your own intimate meal or get several couples together to make it a memorable feast. - Dave Ploch
If you / your partner like meat, or Argentine food, I'd highly recommend Gaucho (in Picadilly and other spots) - the meat is flown in from Argentina and can be cut with a butter knife. The empanadas are superb too, and the wines are excellent too. Here's a page for it: http://www.gauchorestaurants.co.uk/restaur... - Patrick Jordan
La Bouchee, little french restaurant 5min off South Ken tube. Cosy wooden candle light atmosphere, unpretentious yet amazing food, great wine list, good service with a french accent, what else do you need? :) - Mathieu Ayel

What is your workplace dress code? Smart, smart casual, casual, etc? And do you like your dress code?
Ours in smart casual though we can get away with casual on Friday's. Casual is guaranteed when working from home. ;-) I hate wearing anything smart! :-( - Kol Tregaskes
Pajamas? Flip flops? I work from home. :) - Jen (SquirrelGirl)
Pajamas. I love it! - ·[▪_▪]·
Comfy. :o) Jeans, tees, tennis shoes. You come in dressy or business like and they all ask if you have a hot date later. I like it because I like comfy. - Just Kidée: Road Warrior
Smart casual, no t-shirts, shorts, stuff like that. The dress code is nice, IMHO. - Molly Song ;)
smart casual, nothing too formal :) - Niki Costantini
Me too Robot. :) I ultimately have to get dressed to encourage Anna to do the same, but I'd stay in PJs all day if I could. And on days like this - long socks. Definitely a dress code must have on cold days. - Jen (SquirrelGirl)
Jen, me too most of the time. Though I tend to get washed dressed before I even go downstairs. - Kol Tregaskes
"Business casual." It used to be strictly business with casual Fridays, but they only recently changed it to business casual all the time. Button down shirts or sweaters with khakis are the usual way to go now. - James Ferguson
I tend to dress smart-ish no matter what the dress code is - I like looking nice. But all I buy is always comfy! - Iphigenie
Depends what department and level you work at at my place. I generally go in wearing jeans and a smart t-shirt. If I know I have meetings with people I'll wear a shirt. I never wear a suit at work, for now at least anyway - Rory
Dress code? What's that? - Scoble, Alex Scoble
Casual here - orionstarr
90% casual and 10% suite and tie, just to shock colleagues - gibilix
Extreme casual. - Andy Bakun
Andy, define "extreme casual"? ;-) - Kol Tregaskes
Extremely casual, too. In fact when people dress up, everyone whispers, "who's the suit?" and they're referring to someone in a polo and khakis. - Derrick

I'm wearing a suit and tie right now. - Thomas Hawk

The naked count went up again, thanks Tamar. :-) That's probably a better image than Shawn though. ;-) - Kol Tregaskes
Scrubs, which is fine by me. They're pretty comfortable and it means I don't have to pick out a different business-y outfit each day. I still wear stripey socks, though, just to mix it up and maintain my "individuality". :) - Lola Bean (Penguin)
Monday through Thursday = Business Casual. All other days are casual. - Christian (Simply X)
Congrats again with the new job, Sean! :-) - Kol Tregaskes
Pajamas. - Corvida
Business casual (polo shirts, khakis, etc.) - Seth Greenblatt from Friend Deck
I travel to different office locations in NE region and we really have different "dress codes" going on...mostly business casual, some smaller offices are "ultra casual". Tomorrow, I am wearing a top notch suit that cost a very pretty penny as I'll be meeting the CEO of Nelnet tomorrow - so this whole dress code thing really varies by location and events onsite. - Susan Beebe
they just changed our code to "business casual". which sucks. but i'm outta here in 4 weeks anyway. ;-) - Scot Mcphee
One of the MANY advantages of being a nurse - workplace dress code is scrubs, scrubs, and uuhhm scrubs. - Sean

so, why are "you" single? is it a choice?
Lack of interest on their part. However, even if there were takers, it probably wouldn't last long. My Mom is a very demanding patient. - Yolanda
well, as for me, it's not a choice i have made consciously. I don't know about the 80% thing. maybe people think they'd be happy with 80% but then when they actually have the 80%...the last 20 starts looking pretty good. i think i was just a guy's 80%... maybe only his 70%... but I think when he first met me, he thought i was going to be at least his 95%. so then you kind of feel like you watched him slowly wake up to his reality. ohh... gahh. - edythe
Fear. - Mo Kargas
I became single by choice. I've remained single partly by choice and partly because there are no local women i've met that i'd want to (or could) have a relationship with. There are some online i'd probably leave this room for but I'll be staying single until i meet someone i know i'll enjoy for more than a few weeks/months. - ·[▪_▪]·
Maria you say Drugs and alcoholism are deal breakers, well I like drugs and alcohol :) - Toby Graham
Purely by my own choice. I'd rather not have the hassle, and I'm pretty bad when it comes to keeping commitments, for what it's worth. Not to mention that I don't have a great deal of time these days... - Tyson Key
My heart is broken, and I am feeling hopeless. - Shevonne
I'm not even sure what the reason is... - donato
Doesn't help that I don't smoke or drink alcohol (so I have no excuse to go to a pub), I'm shy, not very confident, and little spoken off the Internet. I've never really cared much for chasing people around, either, and I'm happy enough as I am... - Tyson Key
Tyson, I'm right there with you. I don't drink or smoke, I'm EXTREMELY shy, and lack confidence. I wouldn't say I'm happy, though. :/ - donato
Mark, what do you do? - Yolanda from NoiseRiver
I have 2 sons. It's hard to find a partner.. Single not by choice :( - Ale♪nastrorosa
Recently divorced, or emancipated as I like to call it. It wasn't my choice in the beginning....but I'm glad about it now. - Christian (Simply X)
for me it's a bit through choice and a bit not, I've been in love once and have had one other serious relaitonship (well I thought it was!) and have a slight reluctance to get hurt again plus I lack in self confidence a bit and get nervous around any women I think might be interested in me. However I'm quite liking the single life, I answer to no-one but myself, I'm getting to do things I want to and go to places I want, I'm indulging more and more in things that are making me happy - Rory
More or less. - Steven Perez
idk i just am - william
Not really single by choice. I just get friend-zoned often. That or I just lose interest in people. There's only so much "pursuing" you can do before it's time to take the hint and move on. - Jonathan Hardesty

Potentially Embarrassing Question: What was your first concert? - http://furryrabbits.tumblr.com/post...
I saw a very young James Taylor make his solo debut at the Troubadour in LA in 1969. Does that count as a concert? I think it was a pretty decent first live music experience. :) - Kevin Gamble
George Jones and he showed up, but my mom insisted that I be home by 10pm, so I only got to see a little of his performance. It must have been somewhere between 93 and 95. My first non country music was Live in 1995. - Heather Solos
Simple Minds; though, with my family I saw many a country and bluegrass concert, Simple Minds was the first I bought tickets for and drove to myself. - Michael W. May
My first proper concert was going to Weezer at the Astoria when I was 16. Cast and Coast were supporting. The gig was rescheduled from a few weeks earlier, can't remember why though - Rory

Kiss, 1978 or so, in Huntington, WV....I was in 8th grade and my mother took me, one of my classmates, my younger brother (5th grader I think), and his friend. - Craig Eddy
Jodeci and MC Hammer. My mom took us, and she was mortified when she saw them grindin on the floor. - Shevonne
Ozzy Osbourne "No More Tours" Tour outside Springfield, MO. - Jason Shultz from twhirl
Marillion, at the "Olympia" (not the classic French house for concerts in Paris of course), in 1992. Yes, I was 14, and in theory I couldn't be there, because I was with a friend with the same age :D I probably was in some other concert with my parents before, but I don't really remember of it. - Bibi
Tears For Fear--1985, Jacksonville, FL - Kelly W.
America, 1975 - Floyd Davenport

Crosby, Stills, and Nash when I was 11. - FFing Enigma
truly it was Ladysmith Black Mambazo - 5th grade... but my first rock concert was Janet Jackson during the janet. era. - JoEllen

New Kids On The Block in '89. The Fat Boys opened up for them. KILLER SHOW. - Brad Williamson

Van Halen's "1984" is the first concert that I bought a ticket and attended. I went to plenty of concerts with my folks prior. - Mathew A. Koeneker

Kool and the Gang on their 'Celebration' tour. With my older brother and 2 girls from church. I was 12. My first concert with just me and a friend was Missing Persons on their 'Spring Session M' tour. I've seen a bunch of shows since them, some rocked, some sucked. But they were all enjoyable. - Morgan

My first concert was those guys that sang that song "I wanna be a Cowboy and you can be my cow girl..." The concert didn't matter to me (can't even remember the band's name)... it was getting to go to the big city (Spokane, WA) with my girlfriends. Kol Tregaskes
gets annoyed when people share other people's artwork (photography, CG, traditional, etc.) and not link to the original and note the artist!
Note to all on FF, when you upload a piece of artwork please add the link to the original piece. There is a box provided for adding a URL. Anything that can eventually get us to the original image is better than nothing. The artists themselves would appreciate it a lot and I know from experience would be extremely frustrated if you didn't. - Kol Tregaskes
Pixdaus is the worse for this! - Joe Dawson
Sure, if the origin/artist is known. - Jemm
This really bothers me when I see it happen. However, there have been many times that I've shared an image on FF that I found on soup.io or some variation thereof that doesn't provide source links. :\ - Brandon
Sometimes I find Images that I put together In a theme from different places, but I'll try to keep it in mind! I agree, although it's not always the easiest to do. - Michael Fidler
And many pics circle through so many places that sometimes it is impossible to tell, where did it originate from in the first place. - Jemm
I've also sometimes not found the source links, but do hunt down the original artists when I have time and if possible. - Mo Kargas
It's fair enough if you cannot find the original but a little not the affect would be nice. But I've seen people do this all the time. Any link is better than nothing. I suppose we could all use services like TinEye to find the source, though? - Kol Tregaskes
TinEye? I'll look it up - Mo Kargas
I have Google Alerts telling me when Google finds my Flickr and Da URL anywhere and regularly find my pics used without a link back. Fair enough not to ask for permission if it's one of my freebies but just link back, simple please! - Kol Tregaskes
Kol - I've only just seen google alerts, looks interesting what settings do you have for your flickr stuff to pick up on that? - Rory
Jemm has a good point. I run most images through tineye, and sometimes the images are used so many times it's impossible to figure out who the original artist is. It's not always the first in the list. I love tineye, but sometimes it can make things even more confusing, or take one to sites, I might rather not visit. I'm going to make a greater effort to credit the origianl photographer/artist in the future. Thanks, for bringing this up! - Michael Fidler from twhirl
Kol - would love to know how you configure google alerts for finding images from your flickr stuff - siggimus
I use my URLs in the search criteria, so "koltregaskes.deviantart.com" and "flickr.com/photos/koltregaskes" as well as "squashyfrog.com" and others. That gets anything linked to my sites. - Kol Tregaskes
I also search for my name "kolin tregaskes" and "kol tregaskes" - I'm lucky in the fact that I'm the only one. ;-) This gets me anything not linked but has mentioned me. - Kol Tregaskes
If they don't mention me and don't link well I'm stuffed I think but maybe TinEye may help me out - not had a good look at the service yet. - Kol Tregaskes
Michael, I'd rather had a link to something, anything rather than no link at all. :-) - Kol Tregaskes
as others have noted, it's very hard sometimes to know the source. Mo, have you really tried tineye? DB is not great - Duncan Riley
This sorta doesn't work. I've seen people post photos with a link going back to the artist's site and people still get into flame wars over attribution. They're just lazy. - Anika
Hard sure, but not that hard. I'd be happy if you linked back without permission, of course, why would I need to get in a flame war about that? I'd flame them if they didn't link though! - Kol Tregaskes
yeah, i'm guilty of failing to properly attribute flickr CC stuff at times on my blog. new resolution for 2009! - MikeAmundsen
Hopefully TinEye & Google will solve this problem in the future for us. If TinEye takes off, maybe someone will make some simple algorithm to attempt to find the source (like searching through all the TinEye result-webpages for the oldest references and matching with "reputation"/Flickr-like known photographer websites). - Mitchell Tsai
One of my tiny pet peeves... (1) you put your name on your photos (2) but have no internet presence or your name is so common that I can't Google you (3) the e-mail on your photo also doesn't work anymore... I've searched for photographer websites soooo many times with no success. (Guesstimate - 20-40% of the time I can't locate you even with your watermark or when someone mentions your name). - Mitchell Tsai
Some good points there, Mitchell. - Kol Tregaskes
Kol Tregaskes
What TV channels do you watch the most?
Simply the BBC, who needs anything else. ;-) - Kol Tregaskes
Food Network, CNN, Bravo (Top Chef), BBC America (Top Gear). - Justin Whitaker
IFC, Sundance, TCM, Discovery (and related channels) + anything with good uncut commercial-free proper-aspect-ratio movies. - Tinfoil 2.0
HD: Science Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel. Standard: USA - FFing Enigma
Food Network the most. After that, probably an even split between ABC, NBC, Science/Discovery/History/Learning channels. - Rochelle
The basic networks, to be honest (NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox). When I'm just channel-surfing, tends to be Bravo more than anything else. And the movie channels (TCM, IFC, Sundance). - Jandy
Setanta, Fox Soccer Channel, Gol TV, movie channels, the ESPN's, and whatever else my DVR finds on the Satellite... :-) - Live4Emma (L4S)
Food network is on in the background a lot, news channels, Comedy Central, occasional G4. Disney is on with the kids. Networks for specific shows. I have DVRs for appointment programs. - Eric - seven eleven
the ones available through myp2p.eu, anything else I consider unnecessary - Dobromir Hadzhiev
Sky Sports News is on all day everyday in the office. At home it's normally BBC1/Channel4/Five US/FX and the Sky Sports Channels - Rory
If I could get Sci-fi Channel and perhaps Setanta for free they I'd watch them but I only have FeeSat and the list of channels is small, very long but very few are worth watching. I don't watch a great deal of TV anyway. - Kol Tregaskes
Nat Geo, Discovery Ch, HBO, AXN, MTV, BBC, CNN, ESPN, GTV, Animax, Nick - Zulkarnain K.
And I hate watching TV commercials so the rules out most. How can you break up a movie and still enjoy it?? Nah. - Kol Tregaskes
Oasis HD, and TSN HD -- oh and Animal Planet, National Geographic HD, Discovery HD, The Score HD - Shey
HBO, Nat Geo, Comedy Central, BBC, ESPN - ◄ani625Ξ ಠ_ಠ

Kol are you related to my husband by any chance? *L* - Mlibrarianus

@Alex, we do speed TV via DVR also but you have to have a channel to record! - Janet:#TeamMonique
That reminds me, Dee. When was MTV good? I remember watching loads of MTV when I was young, when they actually played music. - Kol Tregaskes
Point is, I watch shows, not channels. The Unit, CSI, Criminal Minds, Boston Legal, Eli Stone, Flashpoint are most of them. - Scoble, Alex Scoble
I hate tv. - John Mercer
@Kol I think they were good sometime in the 90s. Not so much now. - Dee @ Holycool.net
I only watch on the weekends when my daughter is with me. Disney and Nickelodeon. Some HBO, depending what's on. - Morgan
Discovery, History, Bravo, and Animal Planet - Shevonne
We got rid of our connection. Hulu and etc. all the way! - ‘-.-’ Tutivillus Grift
Rochelle!! Me too. Food Network more often than not. BBC a close second. - The Fat Oracle
we do not have a TV at home. kids were complaining for some time but now they are adopted just fine. they are more creative too as we turned out to be. - John Mercer
ESPN and VH1. - Mathew™ aka Youngblood
the internet - andy brudtkuhl
TCM, USA, TNT, Bravo, HGTV and CNN come to mind immediatley - R. Ferguson
Discovery, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network - Eric P
Discovery Channel is another one I'd like to see too. :-( - Kol Tregaskes
@John that's awesome... We have tvs for netflix, video games, and media center ... no cable or satellite - andy brudtkuhl
@brudtkuhl: yes it is, kids made me do it, they were just watching TV all day, now they are into more games, they understand the meaning of schedule and they are doing much more things instead of sitting somewhere and doing nothing. - John Mercer
I DVR from the basic networks for my shows and Sundance and IFC for movies. If I'm randomly surfing, I tend to end up on TLC, Discovery Health or Nick at Nite. - Lis
Bittorrent TV - ok, that´s not a regular station ;-) - Torsten Eckert
I watch DVR stuff mostly--a few shows on both major and cable networks. Surfing I usually end up on TLC, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel or the Food Network. - Kelly W.
It's all an unimportant blur when you have a tivo to take care of all of that for you. - Josh Haley
Discovery and SciFi mainly. I don't really watch "channels" I just use my DVR. Half the time, I coudln't tell you what channel a show was on because I never ever watch live tv. I search by title or genre or whatever and select stuff to record. - Jason Shultz from twhirl
BBC America and ESPN. In a moment of weakness, Sci-Fi. - Steven Perez
@Steven I love ghost hunters and ghost hunters international. i can't help it, i find it fascinating. - Jason Shultz from twhirl
Travel, Discovery, TrueTv, MSNBC - Alan Le
Easy to answer. None. We don't watch broadcast or cable tv. Apple TV, streaming video and downloads for us - Duncan Riley
Duncan, same here... Just without the Apple TV and a TV. Just watching on my MBP. - Holger Eilhard
BBC America, Logo, Food Network, the various science channels, HBO, and Showtime. Some IFC and Sundance thrown in now and then. And if I'm feeling particularly nice, I'll pick up a bit of The N simply for my Degrassi fix. :) - Hookuh Tinypants
TNT is a constant on weeknights. ESPN, History Channel, HGTV, VH1, Discover Channel. Fox for 24, Prison Break, Fringe, House and Idol. - DB, Just DB #TeamMonique
I pretty much gave up TV back in 2003 and the only working TV in my house is a 5.5" black & white that will be permanently going dark at the end of next month. - April Russo
G4 is my main one. USA for Monk and House, And then anywhere I can find pro-wrestling (USA,Spike, Local channels). - ЯIИGҜIИG
BBC America, and um. Fox, TNT, USA (for Psych). For most other channels, it just depends. I'll watch CW for Family Guy repeats, NBC for Thursday night Sci-Fi if there's a good marathon, but otherwise... I watch mostly BBC America and DVDs. - Lola Bean (Penguin)
