Little Marty was in a neglectful home till Amber and Brad took him away and brought him to a vet. They are both young college students, one is employed part time. The vet treated little Marty for a prolapsed anus caused by heavy infestation of worms. Unfortunately the surgical repair did not hold, there was far more damage and he requires a surgical procedure called a coloplex if he is to survive. Without this surgery little Marty will have to be put to sleep. The surgery is estimated at $3500 and the only surgical vet who can perform the surgery is not willing to take money down. He wants it all up front. The family has been paying out of pocket for Marty's stabilizing care to keep him alive until funds can be raised for surgery, but they can't keep him alive AND raise funds at the same time. Can you help little Marty get this surgery?

About 5 years ago my Drivers License expired, because I didn't have all my identification documents that were needed at the time. Eventually, I bought all of them and when we moved to Virginia 2 years ago to care for my inlaws, those documents were misplaced. I need a DL or State ID in order to work. I also just enrolled into college to get a Digital Design Diploma, and need to provide a valid ID, the state ID I currently have, went dead in April. I need to get a Birth Certificate, Marriage License and Divorce Papers from my ex-husband, as well as, marriage license to my husband now. I have to show all my name changes and why my name changed over the years. Any help with paying to get these documents would help in me two ways. I can't obtain work without a valid Id, and I need it for school. Also, I really need a Driver's License. Lois has submitted all documentation needed to verify her identity and need for assistance on MicroGiving.

Melissa was diagnosed with factor v leiden and a blood clot and pulmanary embolism. Due to her ilness she has to go to the doctor every two weeks for a PT INR and a CBC count. The PT INR is to make sure her blood is in a safe range. Her insurance only covers part of her medical expenses and even though she has insurance she still has to pay high co-pays. Plus, her insurance will not cover things like ultrasounds and frequent testing for blood work. Melissa is a single parent of two beautiful children. She needs help covering some of her medical expenses so she can continue to provide a roof over her children's head and food on the table. What is Factor V Leiden thrombophilia? It is an inherited disorder of blood clotting. Factor V Leiden is the name of a specific mutation (genetic alteration) that results in thrombophilia, or an increased tendency to form abnormal blood clots in blood vessels. Judy Hamilton This is not Hamilton's first foray into politics. She ran against District 83 Rep. Don Smith in 2008 and lost. She believes this time will be different because Council District 5 represents a smaller area, and she is more familiar with "hometown" issues. One of those issues is older adult care. Baby boomers (generally those born in the 1950s) are part of an aging population, Hamilton said, and there are a lack of accessible services to accommodate them, as evidenced by waiting lists for Meals on Wheels and Best Friend Express for people who use the buses to get to medical appointments. She wants to make sure the youth of this area get a good education because they will be taking care of the aging population. Hamilton, 45, believes that what separates her from several of the other candidates is the fact she is not a business woman. "I'm an employee," she said. "That's what most of Aiken County is. What we will be dealing with affects the working man." She is a licensed medical social worker with Aurora Pavilion.

I know Judy personally and have volunteered along side Judy at several benefit events. I know she cares much for the disabled and elderly in our community and will work hard to help us. I also know she understands what it's like to live on regular working persons paycheck in our area and because I know her to be a real person, a friend, approachable and honestly caring of the working person as well as the disabled and elderly...I know I can trust her.

Hi. My name is James, and I have cerebral palsy. I'm 22 and attend the University of Connecticut. My wish is to send the maximum number of 70 kids to my local Muscular Dystrophy Summer Camp in Spring Valley, NY. Last year, I was able to send 37 kids, raising over $30,000 and appearing with Tony Orlando and my idol, Jerry Lewis in hour 4 of the national telethon. I certainly haven't given up hope, but I lose sleep and worry that I won't come close to matching last year, let alone beating it or sending everyone to camp. I've tried reaching out to every media outlet available with some success, but not much because of the recession. I am grateful that so far this year, I am sending nine kids, but like Mr. Lewis, I always strive to beat last year by a dollar. If you can help, please visit my website: [ link ] and give whatever you can. It doesn't matter where you're from, a kid in need is a kid in need anywhere. Or, ChipIn with your PayPal account below! I want to wheel on that stage this year and surprise To

Expense: This is for tuition for my son. He has brittle bone disease and Aspergers syndrom. I am trying to raise money to get him into a school that is safe and can meet his needs. Thank you Description: My husbands job transfered in November of O8 he moved here and lived in a camper in a campground until February of 09. My youngest son who has brittle bone disease and Aspergers syndrom wasn't going to come because he also has adjustment disorder. He decided to stay with his dad and go to school there where he was comfortable. Well it took a long time to find a home that we could rent and it wasn't ready until February. My son decided at the last minute he wanted to come with us. (like days before the move.) So I had not looked into schools and did not know the situation with the area public schools. I signed him up for the public school here and things were horrible they have metal detectors, fights, police, the kids can't even go to the restroom without a teacher. This scared the fires outta

Not only for the wedding, mainly to comply with the mortgage company and the new ordinances of residence that went into affect. There is an area in the roof that is giving us fits. We have gone up and made repairs FIVE times. It is now storming and IT IS LEAKING. I am totally disgusted. We are totally broke from all of the unexpected expenses and UGH things."
