I can really relate to the Developer in this skit right about now. http://72.249.21.88/noninte...
Does the S in SOAP seriously stand for "Simple"? It's oozing with complexity right now.
I've been wanting to cover A/B testing on Railscasts, and just heard about Vanity. Any experiences? http://github.com/assaf/vanity
@vampjenn Did you get your kindle all set up?
The answer to so many questions I get is "it depends".
@KentBeck what is your opinion of Mac OS X after using it for a while?
@JEG2 I need to use that about once every other week, just enough gap to forget it each time. Heh.
@kevincolyar I haven't done it, but this article might help. http://www.brynary.com/2009... (site seems to be down right now though)
@avoidiam Yeah, seems Dreamhost is down. Hopefully will be back soon.
BTW, @sdruby says they will upload a version of @wycats talk with better audio later, so you may want to wait to watch it.
Video of "Rails 3: From Vaporware to Awesome" talk by @wycats is here (but poor audio quality). http://sdruby.org/podcast/69
@chalkers nope I avoid addicting online games now. Been sucked into WoW too much in the past.
@lmaa There is xclip, which you may need to install. I'm not sure. http://judofyr.net/posts...
@chalkers For online games? I don't play many anymore.
Loving this new method I added to my .irbrc file. Copy typed commands to clipboard: http://github.com/ryanb...
Done recording episode for tomorrow. I think it turned out great, and now I have a greater appreciation for Mechanize.
@wycats soda sizes are ridiculous. And they keep growing.
@merbist Looks like a plate of spaghetti. ;)
I've been slacking this weekend, but now it's time to get working on tomorrow's episode. Here I come, Mechanize.
@darrenterhune sometimes it caches it and if you try to redownload it doesn't work. maybe try Safari or "curl -O http://...."
@qrush I wonder how many people come running up to that house before they realize it's a decoration.
RT @merbist: slides from @wycats Rails3: from vaporware to awesomeness talk last night at SDRuby http://www.slideshare.net/wycats...
@samsoffes Not that I know of, but I hear the alpha is getting close.
@vampjenn Is that used to pretty up your MacBook?
@amielmartin do you have a link which talks about these new improvements? I don't watch jQuery close enough.
@qrush Time to update gemcutter.org home page then? No more gem tumble!
RT @qrush: gem tumble isn't necessary anymore, gems.rubyforge.org points to gemcutter.
@qrush Nice! When did they flip the switch?
@joelmoss It was an In/Out Board application used to communicate the current status of employees.
