Uganda fear over gay death penalty plans
"An attempt to punish "aggravated homosexuality" in Uganda with the death penalty has caused outrage across the world - and revealed a huge divide in Ugandan society. "Even my friends who are not gay are now scared because they think if this bill is passed, they'll be targeted," says Julian Pepe, an openly gay Ugandan who campaigns for homosexual rights." - Shevonne from Bookmarklet
Obama talks about "negative" and "positive liberties" in his 2001 audio tape recording. this is why "positive liberties" are an evil thing. Obama thinks because he thinks he is right that positive liberties are a good thing. Obviously some people in Uganda think likewise. government should be restricted... never enabled to be proactive. the end result of a proactive system is this. when we debate against marriage for gays... we never talk about enabling the government to get involved. we merely ask it to be honest with contracts that already exist. marriage is not a matter of hate and control... it is merely transparency, administrating the bedroom is not transparency. this is the reason we want a government that does not get involved and when it does is at least transparent. control is not transparency - NoahDavidSimon
