It always seems to come down to noise control. include/exclude
- Kevin Mullett
I hate that you can only see all of the people someone is following rather than how their circles are arranged. I realize that's a privacy issue, but it means I have to build the same list of Librarians that all my other librarian peeps are building also.
- Laura Norvig
kinda quiet in here wonder where everyone could be ;)
- tylergillies
And sparks are nothing more than RSS where they pick it for you. I expected some way to vote up or down the feed.
- Kevin Mullett
Your not in the right circles tyler, chats going crazy over here
- Paul E. Ester
the senders can control the noise - they can create a circle they share VC relavent stuff with. But they have to choose to share with you...
- jay morris
audio cutting out a bit for me. could just be my desktop choking under the load of having this and plus open at the same time ...
- Laura Norvig
Too funny, but really if you have a problem seeing Scobles stuff dont follow, He usually has the most interesting info and after a while as more people join it
- CHRIS VOSS
how do you separate social from interest?
- Karoli
Topic streams (like hashtags) would be good. Can you search "circles" by topic? Sorry, I don't have Google+
- Alex de Soto
@Kevin - ya I had like 18 new people this morning
- CHRIS VOSS
not seeing video. has the show started?
- George Herndon
@kevin I have like 24 people who still havent answered their mail. Maybe I should try just adding one email and calling a friend. Is this working for anyone else.
- CHRIS VOSS
Facebook did not kill FriendFeed; the users killed it!
- Ciro Villa
I think Facebook has helped train the masses to interact in a more Friendfeed-ish way so they *might* be ready for Plus.
- Laura Norvig
yeah, just like profiles for google apps users is coming ...
- Laura Norvig
I think Scobles very right - I'm putting my family on google+ so we can do video chat for free over Skype - its also awesome for business video conferencing
- CHRIS VOSS
Scoble Vic said on TWIG that the video codec has not been selected yet and they are testing several different ones. So to say this video is best of breed could be premature.
- adolfo foronda
@LauraNorvig: Yep, I've talked about the FriendFeedization of Facebook, they got used to likes, events, link sharing (although most don't remove the URL from the publisher before posting). We must not forget that with time, users are evolving as more productive users and that they use more tools when forced into daily pageviews and such.

WHY are we hearing the gentlemens comments who HASNT tried Google+ As respectfully as I can say it, it seems hes left making up talking points without the information of experience.
- CHRIS VOSS
LOL @Tina flashing Steve's name on screen!
- Laura Norvig
Buzz exists for feed importing, I don't see why it would be forced into + as it helps people focus on manual sharing/writing. Information overload fixed temporarily.
- Zu from AOD
Conversations start from inputs that often come from other feeds. Those need to be imported.
- Todd Hoff
my friendfeed was left for dead and used only for aggregation.
- Kevin Mullett
@Todd it depends. Since I spend so much time on Friendfeed, I enjoy seeing aggregated stuff, even from people who no longer converse there. Plus has to decide what it is, what it is for. Can't have cake and eat it too.
- Laura Norvig
Voss there are archives, including audio only daze.
- Jerome Hughes
JP i met you at defrag, i work with marshallk at rww
- tylergillies
Is Google using Google+ to try and take Ad dollars away from Facebook
- Moe Glitz
from iPhone
If have a feed stream I would like to have an easy way to move to the conversational stream. I can do it by hand but it's often too much work.
- Todd Hoff
Maybe when developers get a hold of APIs there will be some killer client overlay thingy. So I can see ONE of what someone posted in multiple places but ALL of the conversations on ALL of the platforms. I wish.
- Laura Norvig
dont we all communicate toall top brands on twitter & not email ???
- Abhijeet Desai
Email is like a call control setup. It's starts the conversation between unknown parties. Try contacting you don't know without email. It's nearly impossible. After you connect then you skype, chat, or whatever.
- Todd Hoff
Messages to a known address that I control and can use cross platform? No that is not going away.
- Kevin Mullett
All subscription systems needs an email. Maybe not for discussion between friends, but businesses are using it a lot, sometimes just so they don't use a public email system and have internal discussions. Could be done in a 'corporate social network', but I don't see that soon.
- Zu from AOD
Its was a pleasure to hang out with you all - see you on google+
- CHRIS VOSS
Now how weird is it for Bret Taylor to have gone from google to FF to Facebook and now see this FFey google product come out to indirectly challenge Facebook?
- Daniel J. Pritchett
