i guess you never read when i told kenn that i have figured out a way to read every single shout i rejaw without or without following the user

expression web won't let me since i have to built the template, etc, etc first and the load it without any guarantee it will work

No, it was a series of unsupported symbols in three different comment inside the thread. they are part of the xml so they appear as blockspaces (empty squares)

those pretty much can fuck up any translation/conversion/transformation

Nope. Should I? I think that I don't need to do so. and will take sooo long :p

heh, yeah. i mean it took 7-10 minutes for visual studio 2008 to do it locally = crazy.. it was as if was compiling something..
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
yeah. it is a very good Asp.net app made by pete grillo. inventor of wesync and founder of protools

Pete Grillo has been active in Portland-area high-technology firms for more than 20 years. In 1997, Pete founded WeSync.com, a venture-backed Web and wireless data synchronization company. WeSync.com became widely recognized for its innovation and advanced technologies, which lead to its acquisition by Palm, Inc. in February 2001. Previously, Pete co-founded ProTools, Inc., a venture-backed developer of network management applications, which was acquired by Network General, and co-founded DWB Associates, a software-consulting firm. In May of 2007, Pete formed iterasi, Inc.

don't know why iterasi has not gotten bigger or made it better so far.. i guess it is because he is doing it by himself..
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
what?.. that is so dumb.. i guess i have my answer there. will check it out..
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
sent. WTH.. i don't remmeber iterasi having these kind of fucked up requirements..will send a e-mail to them. this is idiotic
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
you know what it would be cool? since it has a bookmarklet? a script so it instantly saves every page loaded in a browser on demand.. :P
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
yeah, the development is kinda slow on iterasi.. a small update a month..
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
that is why i think it is a pete grillo pet project..a retirement one i guess since he got money after those two nice company sales.

there was a service i liked called webaroo. it had a cangaroo as mascot.. it made something like this by saving the entire pages locally and just adding a way to render them in a orderly fashion. it was pretty much a mix of iterasi with a old school extractor.. it was a web 1.0 dotcom
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
based on that one thought about a way to see the feeds intead of sites..
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
the other parallel tech that allowed it was the feed creator. the ones how create a feed from any site.
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
back then i had the ide of why not having a feed creator for wap? you produce a message as a feed element. sent it to wap site and then anyone can read it using a wap browser as a fauxsite. it was clever but by then the jump for real web was in motion
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
so you can say i had a twitter like pre twitter concept.. just that it was more aligned in a individual use.. not as a network in a single domain. basically my idea was great but too web 1.0..
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
hahaha.. i loaded up a webaroo instance on rejaw.. it is now extracting as much it can get to extract in 2 hours..
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
set up to extract up to 5gb or 100,000 pages. whatever happens first. now it is at 886 pages at 48.5 mbs
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
i also made a extract directly for htt://www.rejaw.com/avatar awesome. thanks again yungsang out chat reminded me of webaroo and its extractor.
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
doing it by a domain extractor is a drag and too manual.
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
lets see how much it manages to advance before rejaw death
- Avatar X
from FriendFoo
while rejaw.com gives a denial of service the assets are still alive. how do i know? because webaroo continues to download and has not stopped yet. if it found a dead end; it would just simply stop.
