Carbonfootprint.com - nifty calculator here. My end results? Your footprint is 0.76 tonnes, which equates to 8.40 tonnes per year The average footprint for people in United States is 20.40 tonnes - not too shabby.
Even with BSCW's carbon calculators, we're still way under the national average. The thing is, she has no clue what has been done to the house, how we eat, the things we do for our car, etc. Shaking my head at the arrogance.
- Renee Hendricks
House is considered small, we use half of what is considered average for that size home, car is between full to efficient, haven't flown in years, and we recycle/compost and more. The simple fact that she has no clue what our living habits are like is enough to realize she has no idea what she's babbling on about :) (part of the problem is that BSCW is using family carbon footprint and I'm stating individual)
- Renee Hendricks
→ Oh don't worry I got the same bullshit for being below the national average just because I am below her "calculations". She forgets that if you use energy efficient products in the home it drops, regardless of how big the home it. She forgets that cars are fuel efficient now a days, my car is less than 5 years old, plus I only drive to the doctor, store, and if I need to go (due to...

This house has been updated quite a bit due to my father qualifying for senior citizen/low-income city improvements a few years back. The appliances are all exceedingly energy efficient. Our car is only 2 years old so that will give you some idea how fuel efficient it is as well. Plus, our diet is soooooo not like hers - no massive amounts of fried bacon, pork, beef, etc. Myself and two of my kids are intolerant of beef so we avoid it. Her diet alone makes me sick to my stomach.
- Renee Hendricks
Barf! Some people eat way too much pork and fried products - don't understand how they can put that much bad stuff into their systems.
→ Yuck pork... I couldn't even imagine consuming any beef or pork products and there is nothing in my house to fry anything with. Healthy, should be mandatory.
- H0llywoodWh0re
→ I'm laughing at the Italian vegetable mix, I assume veggies from a can or box. Sorry, about your luck; it doesn't constitute as fresh and healthy produce. Of course when pork chops aren't enough you must add bacon to your carbs and noodles

Agenda for the day: 5 articles for Uptik; 1000 word article on eco-friendly dedicated hosting company comparisons (for potential new job - very excited about this!)
Interesting note to self - it was stated yesterday that an article of mine on Blogher was removed. I looked and looked and it seems as though the person stating this was lying. Sometimes ego will just run roughshod.
- Renee Hendricks
My topic for the day on the Uptik articles will be on true green hosting and hosting sites.
- Renee Hendricks
Five titles figured out for Uptik - now just have to write the little buggers.
- Renee Hendricks
One down, four to go! AISO.Net, btw, is highly recommended to those looking for truly green web hosting.
- Renee Hendricks
One article on the differences between carbon offsetting and true green hosting; one on solar powered web hosting companies; one on wind powered web hosting companies; one on determining a hosting company's carbon footprint
- Renee Hendricks
Neat! I'm being copied again - they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Thanks BSCW!
- Renee Hendricks
Copy cat copy cat, caught ya in a lie yet again ya ass-hat. :) Sorry I had a desire to rhyme.
- H0llywoodWh0re
→ I'm just waiting for her to flip the "switch".
- H0llywoodWh0re
Hoping my dear friend @H0llywoodWh0re is doing ok :(
→ Alive and kicking, as you know by now :) Had to get that article out and I'm about to be contacted via phone by the co-founder of the agency. I'm on pins and needles as I have got payment via Paypal and an excellent letter from them.
- H0llywoodWh0re
→ I just didn't check social media as the distraction wouldn't yield professionalism.
- H0llywoodWh0re
I'm glad you're ok - I worry about you when I don't hear from you for most of the morning :)
- Renee Hendricks
Most *obvious* statement of the day: "Children Under Six Should Not Use Cold and Cough Medicines" - no kidding!
→ I was going to say the same thing, scanning the page I seen something about you being null and void (or some shit) so I wanted to see what you did say; which agrees with what I say. I mean come on how "STUPID" does this sound and how stupid is this! Let me look, I just got some cold medication for just in case so I didn't have to go out in midst of germs.
- H0llywoodWh0re
Despite what it may or may not say on the backs of over-the-counter medication, it's common sense for most parents to not give their small children these items. I never gave these things to my kids until after age six. The only one to receive anything over the counter prior to this age was my son for his asthma and that was directed by his physician. Common fucking sense.
- Renee Hendricks
→ Okay I looked on the cough syrup bottle and it says "For Children Under 12 Do not Use", I checked on my box of flu tablets "For Children Under 12 Do not Use" and I checked on another box of cough gel-tablets medication "For Children Under 12 Do not Use" -- Medicated cough drops even says do not use for children under 12.
- H0llywoodWh0re
→ Sadly I tried to take pictures in proof, because with a moron you must prove it to them; but the writing wasn't picked up.
- H0llywoodWh0re
Perhaps it isn't as clear on Canadian over-the-counter medicines? I haven't seen their products so I don't know for sure.

My daughter, Angela, is teaching herself how to play "My Immortal" by Evanescence on the piano - talented little thing :) I couldn't do it.
Amend that - I do need to take the Math assessment as it's been a bit. But English I don't have to worry about and my Speech class will go toward my degree as well.

A bit about my newest writing application and opinion on pay-per-view only sites

I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road. - http://reneehendricks.com/post...
There is the very salient question of what the commandments do not say. Is it too modern to notice that there is nothing about the protection of children from cruelty, nothing about rape, nothing about slavery, and nothing about genocide? Or is it too exactingly “in context” to notice that some of these very offenses are about to be positively... - http://reneehendricks.com/post...
A little bit regarding how one portrays oneself online and the traps of lying.
- Renee Hendricks
→ Creditability is what I'm been preaching from day one. As you said everything online can simply be traced in two clicks. For example if one claims they are against excessive technology and use a term like I-pod but they publicly have a photo of them with an I-pod showing it off. Creditability goes to zero and questionings start. Those ignoring the questions loose it even further. Lack of creditability is why one has no friends, no one wants a liar as a friend.
- H0llywoodWh0re
→ Seriously, given the time spent online and the devotion to many sites; you would think one would question why one has no friends/followers/subscribers. Especially when the site is used each day, is public, has activity and still has no friends or network. You would think one could see the lack of creditability and the lies lead to disinterest for example even on a network of women there are no friends nor comments or returned comments. I'd seriously start to question, why. Guess it doesn't bother a liar.
- H0llywoodWh0re
For a day that started out as kind of "meh", it just keeps getting better and better :)
I love quiet afternoons followed by quiet evenings :) When stupidity closes its door, it's amazing how much smarter the rest of the world seems.
- Renee Hendricks
Perfect example that ties into the iPod comment previously made. It's interesting to note that the author also has no credibility as they have been known to own the same technology they are attempting to state should only be used by emergency personnel.
- Renee Hendricks
→ I find this statement moronic "you see amanda and susanne do not know that IPODS upgraded" since it's clear I corrected her ass on Digg. This woman had no idea prior to my information, now the credit she takes. It would kill her to say "Amanda informed me that... I was wrong in my wording..."
- H0llywoodWh0re
She's just pissed because she was found to be in serious error. Covering one's ass after the fact doesn't count :)
- Renee Hendricks
Happiness is... 18+ hours of golden silence. What was the previous record?
ROFLMAO - yep, she can't stand it that people won't see what she has to say. Gotta post out those lies somewhere for the public to see, right?
- Renee Hendricks
Absolutely no will power - guess that makes a few of us "prophets" as we all predicted this ;)
- Renee Hendricks
→ Correct, our prediction would indicate that we have the ability of a prophet; regardless. No will power, as you said. However I cannot believe I was so nice to her to give her tips about litter box training. I just don't want the baby to become sick.
- H0llywoodWh0re
→ Awe. For a woman who claims to have no prideful ego she sure shows a prideful fucking ego. What's up with that? Oh, just another lie she convinced herself to believe. We were all happy your page was closed, doorknob!
- H0llywoodWh0re
LMAO - she thinks my blogher post was taken down. Nope, still there :)

An iPod Touch needs a Wi-Fi connection. Hotspots for Wi-Fi can be found in offices, schools, campuses, homes and occasionally across towns and city centers. The problem lays within those pockets where there is no Wi-Fi.
- Renee Hendricks
Having a Wi-Fi enabled Skype phone, I can say from personal experience that travel around by vehicle with this phone is like watching a yo-yo. You're connected, you're not connected, you're connected...you get the picture.

For an EMT, this would not work in any way.

Today: Work on a few Uptik articles and possibly a few for other places regarding online journalism/social media.
