At Castro Theater with J., sitting down to watch "The Women", part of their 1939 festival.
@WildCuddler That seems to be your reaction to almost anything: "too much vanilla". Heheh.
@wilw My thought exactly. (BTW, is it me or did the ending of that otherwise fun novel seem kind of rushed?)
@Hedonia Makes sense. But among those that do get married…how does the rate compare?
Random question: Do hippies get fewer divorces?
@LarryFlick I heard that! (and yes, guilty your honor)
@OneHandedGUI srsly! I thought virgin was fancy, but no.…

@tpromix lol... Cherry Tart is a good drag name indeed — it goes on the list.
@OneHandedGUI oh hell yeah. except they don't have peach nectar on this flight.
Starbucks is now selling little cherry tarts. I'm doomed.
Tried Molly Moon's last night: salted caramel ice cream with hot fudge on top. Less snooty than Bi-Rite, but not as rich either. #Seattle
@Carl_Fortney Key Wesr = how many Rum Runners have you had?
Working on a project schedule and listening to Beethoven's Ninth. Picturing Lenny bouncing on the podium as he conducts.
@dstazer I've had the same experience on @virginamerica. Usually great service; occasionally, tho, it's like the entire crew is pissed off.
@chi_weets Being friendly is easy, but calling someone a friend carries responsibilities that I take seriously. I only ever have a few.
@Carl_Fortney did he have a wide stance?
Made a new friend yesterday. Rare for me, but very welcome when it does happen.
@hummingberd I might be in SF this weekend, let's catch up with brunch - sounds like a harrowing few days!
@hummingberd oh my gosh -

According to Wikipedia, “The song” — composed by Henry Mancini — “is a candombe, a genre of popular dance music from Montevideo, Uruguay.” The candombe’s requisite drummers — the cuerda — can be seen in the background. Now a standard, it’s been covered in English (“It Had Better Be Tonight”, lyric by Johnny Mercer) by everyone from Lena Horne to Michael Bublé. But then there’s this rarity from Donna Summer, singing in Italian long before “Con Te Partirò”.

Watching the rugby match (FogFest IV, Treasure Island).
Watching "The Pink Panther" on Pink Saturday. Was meant as a vehicle for David Niven, but Peter Sellers steals it w/an assist from Capucine.

FogFest cookout between matches. Lots of happy folk. And a dozen or so kegs of Bud. Happy. http://twitpic.com/8ltgi

Gorgeous breezy day on Treasure Island for @fogfest. Nearly 80 players, over two dozen supporters, plus refs and staff. Quite a party!
@Hedonia I hear ya.
