Is Fujitsu's VSYS a precursor to OVF 2.0, providing vnet internal config'n info & compartment's exposed comm'n? @vambenepe ? #clouderati ?

@davidoberry #infra20 Schedule/agenda not yet set, so it could be 1.5 days.
Crazy crazy week. Using weekend to get back to IF-MAP, pubsub/PuSH and intercloud information exchange.
@davidoberry Jan 20 and 21 are confirmed. #Infra2
@duncanjw Safe travels. It was great to see you here this week.

OK... Who has such little regard for his physical well-being that he'd fire up a leaf-blower outside my window at 5:30 am? (mayhem ensues)
See my FriendMosaic at http://www.friendmosaic.com/show... ...it's fun.
@dmcar I keep rummaging in the closet mumbling: "Now... where DID I put that RPG?"
I'm preparing some new collateral material. Who's got the best 'executive' CV you've ever seen? Why did you think it superior?

RT [@benjaminblack: New term: scale horizon - the scale past which you cannot predict a system's behavior.] Useful! Any other 'horizons'?
Great to get together with @duncanjw to talk about CloudSoft, cloud computing and the state of the universe.
@sureddy Re HW appliance mrkt: I agree that virtualization & multi-core tech accelerates it's demise. Cloud (an ops model), not so much.
@randydarthur @alexhutton Actually, decision to trust may be binary, but even that is contextual. I'll trust it w/ this, but not w/ that.
OK, Twitter.... set the UI down slowly and back away NOW.
@randydarthur Thx. Well aware of A6 & CSC's CTP. No quarrel w/ objective or potential. However, trust is still 'relative' .
@sureddy If Cloud reduces the mrkt for (typically underutilized) HW across the board, then it hastens demise of appliances as part of that.

Hard time reaching 'compos mentis' this morning. French press mocha java seems to be working in time for the 6:30 am conf call.
Cloud Computing: it is not so much a technical 'revolution' as it is a revolution of the operating model. It blows away a hugely wasteful approach, and replaces it by putting immense POTENTIAL into the hands of individuals & enterprise. By analogy: No longer does the customer need a trained auto mechanic (or hire one on staff) in order to design,...
@duncanjw Welcome to town. We ordered up the weather in your honor.
RT [@csoandy: Would be nice to see a non-attack, non-IPCAF/IPCAF performance analysis too.] Right. Determine what's overhead w/o an attack.
