I'm stuck at home because both of our kids are running 101 degree temps...
On a rollercoaster ride. Brother back in Trauma Intensive Care. He is running fever, heart rate extremely high since coming out of surgery
Mike is struggling through his worse pain...5 hrs of moving bones around has left him in excruciating pain
Thank you all for the Prayers and Thoughts. Since the accident, everything has went as good as it possibly could.
Mike is finally out of surgery. Good news, they got all the bones into the correct placement. The operation went very well, DR was Positve
Now just hoping for no infection. Mike's body has always healed quickly and properly, expecting the same this time.
My next update will be that he is out of surgery.... a few hours from now. Thanks all for everything!
Actually sharing this whole experience with all of you has made it a little eaiser on me too. So thank you for listening!
Thank u @dannybrown! My brother was truly amazed by Twitter last night. He was more at ease abt surgery knowing we had so much support.

brother in 4 - 5 hr surgery right now. 1st attempt at reconstruction.
one Doctor yesterday told Mike he would never walk "normal" again and definitely not run. We'll just have to see about that.
