Well the thread wouldn't die, people just kept posting. I forget which one it was. Anyway, it got so monsterous, that few people going to read/post to it per day (which was only a handfull) accounted for 1/3 of the server load of the site. They eventually had to cull that thread.

I'm sorry for everyone who noticed Netflix overwhelming their feed recently. RSS GUIDs are supposed to stay unique and constant but some services change them every few months. We have some logic in place at FriendFeed to minimize the impact but it still sucks :(

I like FF and Fringe. The two week hiatus for Fringe just knocked all momentum out of it. And FlashForward is interesting. It would be sad to see it go and V survive since V was so poor to start. Maybe it'll get better but ...

I tried FlashForward for the first three episodes, and can't get into it. Have the rest on the Tivo. I don't think the time is right for another Lost-like show (whether or not that characterization is warranted), even though ABC desperately wants a replacement for it. I dropped Fringe after the pilot, but that was more about its time slot, being the weaker of three shows I was interested in when it premiered. Keep meaning to check it out on DVD, maybe after I finish watching ST: TNG.

@Mark: Yeah, it's unfortunate that it's fallen into that 'Lost' like bucket. I think the premise is actually pretty interesting and they're doing some decent stuff with it. Acting is uneven but better than V. Fringe ... was pretty bad for the first 3-5 episodes and then began to hit its stride. This season has gotten a bit janky now and then but overall there is enough to keep me coming back.

I use it more as a chaser than sugar. :) I'm actually a black coffee drinker, but our coffee here at work is so awful (Starbucks *gag*) that I add half-n-half to it to cut the burned taste.

I drink the crap here at work to wake me up (I think it's a mental thing more than anything else; i can't imagine the caffeine does anything for me anymore), but I have a nice, good quality cup of coffee at home on the weekends because I love the taste. :)
