Great article. We in the UK have just discovered "wordles" or tag clouds during the recent season of political conferences. The words that came out were "today", "financial" and "help". Rather appropriate.

The first two are my favorite, because anyone can use Google Docs or Many Eyes and get hands-on learning about data visualization. It would be even better if a copy of the spreadsheet were published, so readers could see exactly how the chart was constructed.
