Nokia Reveals iPhone Competitor And Prepares To Do Battle With iTunes http://www.readwriteweb.com/archive...
@Felix You are absolutely right about there being much more choice, flexibility and freedom when it comes to apps on Nokias compared to the iPhone but NO-ONE knows. Nokia need an open app store of their own. The reason the iPhone apps are popular is because so many people know they exist. Nokia does virtually f-all to publicise the apps that you COULD have on your phone, which is a big USP. This phone from Nokia just isn't enough to make a dent in Apple. Those studies show that the music service won't convince enough people. Nokia need to open up the phone more and encourage a community of app developers, just like Apple did, but make it completely open and the publicise it like there's no tomorrow. Oh and what, may I ask is the point of putting a 3.2 Megapixel camera in it? That just makes one of the main features far less attractive than something far cheaper like an N95, which has pretty much all the same features. In fact, on my N95 I just log on to Orb and stream my 20GB of music over the web, elimin - Philip John from FriendFeed MT Plugin
