I have a portable version of evernote that was running in one location, I have since moved it and would like to relocate the local file storage within the settings but it is grayed out and I am unable to change it. Does anyone know how I can change this setting? Do I need to turn something off first or change some setting? TIA for any help =]
This is what I do with my portable version: In the "Program Files" directory of the portable app, edit the file ENOptions.xml. Line 2 is "<DefaulEvernotePath.....", change that to where you want your database to be.

From the page: " âÂoeI love the Paleokits! For years IâÂve been relying too heavily on protein bars and shakes for quick & easy snacks. Now with the Paleokits I have a great resource for easy & healthy snacks. Plus there is the bonus on knowing that each pack I purchase helps support SteveâÂs Club and the great work he is doing for the youth of Camden, NJ.â âÂ"Josh Everett"

Can someone help my mom? I don't know the answer: "do you know anyone who knows Microsoft Outlook Express? I cannot find out where my spam folder is, and some important things are there...."
Is your mum using imap or pop with outlook express?
- Jon Dillon
Ugh, I can't remember the last time I used outlook express. I didn't even know it had it's own Spam filtering.

I wish she had a mac so I could take over her computer easily...

One of the reasons that Windows Live Mail (and Windows Mail in Vista) was touted as being so great was because of the spam stuff.. may be i am wrong, but i dont remember the junk folder in OE
- William
actually Veronica you could use TeamViewer to control her PC for her, even from your Mac. Check it out, free for Non-commercial use. http://www.teamviewer.com
- Paul Wade
normally the SPAM or Junk mail folder is under the local folders list
- Jon Dillon
What type of mail is she getting in there? (IMAP, POP?) She may not be subscribed to the spam folder, so she would have to configure it....

You can take it over really easy... Use logmein. It's not hard to walk her through the install (assuming she doesn't have a software firewall)...

What Veronica will look like in 20+ years = Veronica's Mom? :D
- Percival
@ Dr. Apps yeah but Teamviewer is way easier for the end user.
- Paul Wade
Spam should be in its own folder. Maybe there's a + next to a folder (meaning it's collapsed?). God, I haven't used Express in like 6 years. There has to be an option/setting telling Express where to put spam.
- Michael Gaines
If she's using IMAP, right-click on the account in the "Folders" pane, then left-click on "IMAP Folders..." From there, you can show/hide folders.
- Tom Harrison
@Paul Wade Or she could try Crossloop. Either way, there are many options. Also, Veronica if she is having issues with Outlook Express you should have her download the Windows Live Suite and use WIndows Live Mail. Most of the "older" people I've hooked up with Live Mail really like it. It will auto-ish import her OE profile painlessly.

by default Outlook Express doesn't come with a 'spam folder'. If you need one you will have to create it manually - http://worria.com/en... However if you are search for anything particular and you can't find it, simply use the "FIND" option -- Make sure to use "browse" button to select "local folders"... or else by default it will only search your 'inbox'. Local Folder basically means -- all your folders...so if your email is in your outlook...you will definitely find it!

I noticed someone recommended CrossLoop, Veronica - give it a shot. I am one of the Co-Founders of CrossLoop.... was at LinkedIn prior to that

Okay so as I was reading all the ideas for finding the spam folder I had a thought ... How does she know that she has important emails in her spam folder if she doesn't know where it is? Did someone she is expecting email from tell her to just check her spam folder? A lot of companies will do that just to get you off the phone. Does she even have spam filtering? Does she use her ISP's email service? Webmail? I think the solution to this problem is not as simple as pointing to where her spam folder may be

email, twitter, google feed reading. I'd like to know if there's a decent twitter client for the N810.
- Jason
im, email, browsing, music, games. I usually just twitter from my phone on the go as there is no twitter client at all that I have found for the n8x0.
- Robert Jorgenson
I just got my N810 a couple of days ago. So far I do everything from the web browser: email (Gmail), read RSS feeds (Google Reader), and follow people on FriendFeed and Twitter. Works like a charm after I upgraded to Diablo.

I just got one and so far i have been using it on the couch for IM, gmail, light web browsing. Its a lot of fun, but im not sure i can use it to get any real work done. I have also tried eCoach to GPS track my daily run- useful, but not something i want to run with in my pocket.
- Grahm Skee
Since I live in the browser on other computing devices, I usually live in the browser on the N810. I do like some apps, like Vagalume for last.fm streaming, or various games, Mauku for monitoring/posting to Jaiku (unfortunately the API being flaky causes Mauku to stop working), and some other apps I'm forgetting right now. But mainly use the browser for Gmail, GReader, Jaiku, etc.

I am hoping to see wimax N810 here in NYC this year. I have a treo 700p and am in serious need of upgrade. I am going to wait to see the iphone 3G and hopefully the N810w to compare them
In theory if he doesn't leave the WiMax enabled area he could just use skype on his n810 as his phone.
- Robert Jorgenson
indeed.... i'd like to hear from someone who has actually used skype on the n810 to get their sense for well it works, call quality, etc...
- torr
I've used skype on the n810 over a wifi connection, never a cellular one, but it worked fantastically. I was even able to pair my jawbone with my n810 to make phone calls. A persistent skype friendly connection seemed so ideal at that point =)

"This is one of the worst things I have ever seen. I'm no tree hugging animal loving hippie, but this is just wrong. All that said, those pigs got some fucking fight in them! You ever see a human shot in the chest with a .45? They fall to the ground. Those pigs don't go down like bitches that's for sure!"

"You need 5 referrals to get the ipod nano, I would have posted that, but it didn't tell you until you actually got at least one referral. Its for the 4gb iPod Nano so 5 referrals is about right and more than worth it I think."
- Robert Jorgenson
"Saw that coming ... one post is hardly spam. I noticed it hadn't really been published anywhere yet so I decided to let people know about it. I see nothing wrong with using my referral link either. I'm sorry if this offends you."
