more companies don't have iphone apps because apple has made the process onerous and expensive. Even after you jump through all the hoops to make one, you are not able to distribute it because it is "waiting in line" for them to review it. These companies don't have them because they are being fiscally responsible in a down economy. A mobile web interface is a much cheaper and more flexible choice. But since the iphone browser is pretty good with regular websites, there's not so much pressure to do that. - jacob robbins

Isn't the Honeymoon over yet for FriendFeed? It's getting really old. Twitter is NOT dying and they will eventually fix their issues. Also, I don't see how everyone is doing a competition between the two products. They are completely two different products that serve different purposes. I have to disagree. I don't think Twitter is dying. I think Friend Feed is helping Twitter in a lot of ways. I still use Twitter and, update from my phone and other apps. My updates come right onto FF and, people comment. That's the same a lot of us do. Yes, we're all getting tired of Twitter's constant issues. Isn't that the real problem though? Twitter's constant issues it's what is the most frustrating. - Candace

Friendfeed will outnumber Twitter sooner rather than later because it already controls a significant part of conversation streams. Plus, it aggregate every other webservice produced content that's a main part. Good backgrounds are deep, go out to the park or sit in front of a big window or have a landmark in the background. Even an unobtrusive chunky pattern would help. Find a film/TV student set up a proper three camera shoot for you. Take off the tie and put the damn laptop away. Don't just sit face-on to the camera. Get a bigger table or some armchairs.
