Third of all, you might want to update the Disqus module to the latest version as the CSS is broken in 1.4. The upgrade path is a pretty extensive as well because 1.4 didn't take the Drupal path module into consideration. The 1.5 upgrade path attempts to switch the Disqus paths from the Drupal Path module's cleans paths to the Node ID paths, so it fixes that issue. But even still, you'll want to update it very soon.
