Disqus comments come to Drupal via this module. Of course, Drupal already has native support for threaded comments, so the value of Disqus on Drupal is debatable. - Rob Safuto
Great stuff. I'll try this out this evening. I was looking for something like this over the weekend but it didn't exist yet (and I wasn't happy with the "workaround" method posted on Disqus' blog) - Chris Lewis
Just installed it. Works great. Thanks! - Chris Lewis
There's some good discussion about pros and cons of Disqus and Drupal at http://www.robloach.net/node.... - Rob Safuto
I installed it and I think we will go live with it. Disqus is a really nice project. I know, if Disqus goes all your comments will go too, but I guess we'll give it a try. - ※Fu※
One of the things you lose with Disqus is the ability for comments to show up in search results. Drupal 6 indexes comments which is a feature that I really like a lot. As a result I think an ideal option would be to have the main comment module active with a link that says, "Comment with Disqus" for people who want to get the comments to show up in their Disqus feed. - Rob Safuto
What if you could re-import the disqus RSS feed, parse it and put the threads back into the page, let's say into a noscript area. That would be fine for SEs, I think. But the main problem of having comments to one piece of content on different platforms doesnt get resolved by this. - ※Fu※
