According to a new report from Collider, Dexter season 8 producer Sara Colleton, chatted it up with TV Guide,and definitely confirmed that season 8 will be the last. In fact, she revealed that they actually wanted to end the show in this last season 6. She told them, "this was definite. We wanted to end it this year, but the network convinced us that it would be best to do it in two years. In some ways, this is a two-season series-ender.
