I can't find any learning outcomes/objectives for
Metabolic regulation on blackboard. I usually use them during revision to check I've met the aims of the course. Were we given them on a handout or anything?

Christine Well's lectures usually have a summary of the vital things at the end - I can't remember if they did this time, but last year I used those as a revision guide. Alternatively, try emailing? -
I used those last year too but they aren't on the slides this year. I just checked the module survey and it asks if the module objectives were made clear so I'm assuming that there are some somewhere. I'll have another check to make sure I haven't missed them, at some point, and email if I can find them. -
Dr C Wells (Lectures 1-7). Topics in lipid metabolism, to include lipids as an energy store, lipid transport, regulation of cholesterol metabolism and atherosclerosis, regulation of fatty acid mobilization, normal and starved metabolic responses. Diabetes. Dr P Moody (Lectures 8-10). Aspects of amino acid synthesis and degradation. Dr M Leyland (Lectures 11-14). The central importance of glucose in carbohydrate metabolism. The digestion, absorption and metabolism of carbohydrates. Control of carbohydrate degradation and synthesis. Integration of carbohydrate metabolism by the tissues. -
I found these on the module handout, I know they aren't very specific, but it's what I've been using. Hope it helps! xx -
Thanks Jaspreet. -
