"Here is an opinion from a person who has actually spent a few years (I log in from time to time, I don't spend all day in world) in SL. Basically, like the real world, making a lot of money in SL will be hard. There are VERY VERY few people who make a living in the virtual world. I can't bother doing that sort of content creation since my first life is rather busy. I just simply log in and hang out and explore the sites much like a tourist.
