I really disliked getting $$$ stuff from them before when they really pushed their warranty on you. After they've stopped doing that I don't really have any major issues with them anymore. The ones I frequent do have employees that seem sincerely interested in whether or not I need help (I usually don't, so whether or not they're actually helpful, I can't say) so I don't know what depressed place she visited. - ronin

I was thinking the same thing, ronin. My Best Buy is NOTHING like she described. I don't like going there for my own personal reasons (and I have two Fry's within 30 minutes of me so they get more of my business) but in general they've been one helluva retailer on the customer service front. Their shelf tags are incredibly shitty but there's always been an associate to help me suss out the info I need. - Hookuh Tinypants
