Not stupid at all. Yup, you hafta be using Firefox. Download the Greasemonkey Add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-... Then when you click Install on any scripts on userscripts.org it will automatically be installed and run (reload page). - Hao Chen
Yah i figured it out awhile ago. The reason i asked was because prior to this i had grease monkey scripts installed and what it would do is download the .js file without actually applying it, had no idea why; thanks though Hao - Gordon Swaby

of the 100 entries typical 50 are hidden for me. hid all twitter, pownce, identica without likes. I'm more interested in the stuff from friendfeed nowadays unless the other items have likes or comments. - Alan Le

This is for viewing only. To write multiple-line comment, use Notepad and paste the text to FriendFeed comment textarea. - LouCypher

Yes, click on hide, then click again and you can choose your rules, eg keep your friends comments but hide all their friends that are not connected to you. You can also hide their stuff that does have comments/likes. - Sally Church
The only options I see are for hiding other content of the type, from my friends or everyone, having likes or not. That's different from hiding items of any type that a specific friend comments on but weren't posted by someone in my friends list. You're just subscribed to too many people, Sally! I'm not a Scoble, I can't handle it. ;-) - Mr. Gunn
Ok Mr Gunn, you have to go to an item that says "X (fiend of Sally Church) posted... " and click on Hide. Then click again - you should get 5 options including "hide all stuff from friends of fiends". That should solve your problem for all FOAF and keep your stream tidy just for the important stuff relating to YOUR friends. Or you can just hide stuff from my friends in that option list :) - Sally Church

Archives are currently only accessible up to page 11 (i.e., the 330 latest items). I think FF acknowledged this will be fixed someday. - Ole Begemann

You can move the sticky 'box' around. Find line #173 and edit the position, width, etc... (and it does auto-update, added example to earlier reply.) - "Czar" DJ Peterman
Czar, I found the line and altered the width. No overlap with feed now. But I couldn't alter the height / rows, so it stil overlaps the search box, add & edit tabs. Is the line height in the same line? I'm a newbie at this jsscript thingy & I'm just doing this on the fly (blind). - Vijay Sadasivam

i loaded this one as well as the cleaner friendfeed and there appear to be some issues having both running at the same time. it wont let me select some of the rooms when the the room list reappears. - (jeff)isageek
