Did Linking Indiana just launch during the 4th of July weekend? - Thomas Ho
We just launched on Facebook and FriendFeed. We've been around on Plaxo and Facebook for a while (a month or two). - Mike Seidle
How do we utilize this? - Kyle Lacy
Kyle - are you talking about FriendFeed or Linking Indiana? - Mike Seidle
LinkingIndiana - Kyle Lacy
Kyle - Three things - first, when you join, everyone in the group is visible to you. That gives you 970+ people you can see that all have Indiana connections. It also gives you visibility in the the group memeber's contacts/friends, opening up connections to literally millions of people. Since there's an Indiana connection to everyone in the group, chances are you'll have more in common if you want to connect to others. Also, we will be publishing a list of Hoosier connected open networkers. - Mike Seidle
SO...WHY Linking Indiana INSTEAD OF Smaller Indiana? - Thomas Ho
Thomas, Linking Indiana is not competing with Smaller Indiana - which is a Ning site. Linking Indiana is a social network meta group, and is not ever going to be a micro social network like Smaller Indiana, unless someone puts a gun to my head. Maybe I should put up a Linking Indiana group in Smaller Indiana? What do you think? - Mike Seidle
