Marc, I haven't stopped eating due to having kids. Why stop Friendfeeding? :-) - Louis Gray
You haven't stopped eating yet because they are still at the hospital. ;) Last hot meal I ate without paying for a sitter to get it was when #4 was born. Oh wait. She cried when they brought my stork dinner and it got cold. Never mind. Circa 1999. - Cyndy
If anything , you'll be using FF more b/c you won't have time to surf anywhere else. If it wasn't before, nows the time to Home page Friendfeed :) - Anthony Farrior
I made FriendFeed my home page _A LONG_ time ago, back in February. http://friendfeed.com/e/167d5c... - Louis Gray

Happy to help. The funny thing is, I bookmark all coverage equally. So anybody who wants similar traffic... all they have to do is link my way. It's quite democratic. :-) - Louis Gray

Good. I am not an A-lister, still I love friendfeed as well. - Louis Gray
@Louis. No Louis, you have become A-lister, with your good blog. And that is not a bad thing actually - Varun Mahajan
I'm a Z-lister and I really like it too. Even if my comments don't generate replies or discussion, other threads make for thought-provoking reading. - Abby Martin
but of course, the question is whether friendfeed loves non A-listers, I believe so - Dobromir Hadzhiev
I'm not really into labels. Louis is what he is because he has a love for new tech and great contacts in the tech biz. He didn't start that way, but he's at that level now. Any and everyone else has that potential too so why smack a letter on him? - Anthony Farrior
Louis: Hah, I mis-read that in a hurry as 'I am not an As-fan' - Sally Church
i am not an a-lister and i like parts of ff and dislike other parts - ratio of like/dislike is 32%/68% - Allen Stern

"Good Ole' Louis Gray Defends www.rssmeme.com today. I think me having a music business background is the reason why I get so annoyed when it comes to tight-fisted "Don't touch my rss" people..." - Anthony Farrior
While it's obvious to most here that I have no problem with RSSmeme, I thought my coverage of the takedown request was fairly neutral? I tried to just say what happened without slathering my opinion throughout. Let me know if you think I didn't. - Louis Gray
I wanted to read this article, but instead I was greated to an ad that took over the page and redirected me somewhere else. Guess I'll have to load up this guy's feed in Google Reader. - Mark Trapp
@Louis Gray You were neutral.... I'm biased - Anthony Farrior
@Mark Trapp working on a better way to monetize, sorry for smacking you with the full page ad :) - Anthony Farrior

is there a way to hide the duplicated articles submitted by different people? - Anthony Farrior
What do you mean? On Feedly, or on FriendFeed? On either, I would guess the answer is no? Do you mean if Google Reader friends shared the same item? - Louis Gray
lol, yes if my "friends" shared the same item on feedly...BTW I wrote a post about this do everthing online phenomena... - Anthony Farrior
The fact that it was a Firefox addon threw me a bit. - Caleb Elston
Hmm. You hooked me. BTW say Feedly API three times fast. - Russellreno
Feedly is 100% synchronized with Google Reader. Add a subscription through Feedly, and it will show up in your Google Reader. Read an article in Feedly? It's marked read in Google Reader. Recommend it in Feedly? It's shared in Google Reader. Want to move a blog from one folder to another in Google Reader? You can do that through Feedly. Feedly essentially brings you all the aspects of Google Reader we've grown accustomed to, but displays them in a new, friendly, visual way, while extending the feed universe out to Twitter and e-mail, and adding social elements. - Russellreno
The comment above is a direct quote from LG. The synchronizaion plus the recommendations caught my attention. - Russellreno
regarding the duplication, feedly has 2 different behaviors: it will compress duplicates on the what's new and the category pages but will show them in the wall (which is more a time-based timeline) - Edwin Khodabakchian
The more I use Feedly the better I like it. - Russellreno
Thanks Russell - Edwin Khodabakchian

"Another thing stood out in his post that I’ve been wanting to touch on for a while. He mentioned this dude named Louis Gray. I’ve seen this name quite a bit on Twitter feeds (especially Corvida’s) and his quotes, but could you help a sister out? What is the power behind Louis Gray? Why is he so influential and how did he get that way?" - Louis Gray
Louis Gray is not merely a person, but an idea, a movement. - Mark Trapp
I don't know where this stuff comes from, but at least I'm not taking it _too_ seriously. :-) - Louis Gray
Louis, I think that's why you're so influential: you write consistently good stuff about the field, yet you aren't a "personality" like Dave Winer or Steve Gillmor or Michael Arrington or any of the other intense-seeming bloggers who get /really/ into it. That, combined with you being one of the biggest advocates for the hottest social network out right now, and you've got a formula for greatness. - Mark Trapp

Jane's Addiction, 10,000 Maniacs (lost count), Tori Amos, Jucifer, Kelly Hogan, The Reverend, BNL, TMBG. Was I supposed to narrow that down? - Cyndy
No limit, obviously. I put nine different ones, and if I were smarter, I would have made it a top ten. And don't tell anybody, but I once saw Tori Amos in concert myself. Promise not to tell? - Louis Gray
But Tori is an awesome live show. I've brought friends who have never liked her music and they like the show. ;) - Cyndy
Probably They Might Be Giants in 1990 in a tiny club in Austin called Liberty Lunch, when it was just the two Johns. Also, The Orb and Fatboy Slim are great in concert. I also liked Tori Amos in concert, once upon a time. - Phil Glockner
Two best shows I've ever seen came within a year of each other in 1993-94: Nirvana in Buffalo, NY and Rage Against the Machine in NYC. Other highlights: Black Crowes, Mighty Mighty Boss Tones (seen many many times), Scofflaws (same), Yolk (Binghamton, NY band), and most recently, REM at the Hollywood Bowl. - Eric Berlin
Depeche Mode (with Book of Love opening), INXS (with PIL opening- odd combo), George Clinton in Central Park, REM, The Smiths and Bowie. - Abby Martin

I use del.icio.us to track coverage of the blog, so I'm not using it as a real bookmarks holder, but instead to store where other people have made links, like an extended Technorati. So coverage is almost 100%. - Louis Gray
