I'm trimming down the services / apps I use. I was using Evernote / Simplenote / 1Password for notes. Today I moved secure stuff from Evernote to 1Password and everything else to Simplenote.

I was using all 3 and wasn't going to lose 1password. I prerfer Simplenote because it's quick and easy. Making a new note from my phone via Evernote was slow. It's great app if you have the need but I'll use it more if it's simple.

I also moved my online bookmarks from Delicious to Pinboard. Still using Firefox/Chrome on the PC but I am using just Safari on the Mac.

So what's compelling about Pinboard. I read about it the other day and it just seems not worth the hassle. Why'd you make the switch?

It's new and shiny. :) Not really, it's minimalist and I wanted to give it a try. I imported my stuff from delicious in and am trying it out. It really has nothing that delicious doesn't, more about what is doesn't.
