"A much-improved performance from England was not enough to prevent New Zealand pulling away in the second half to win with some ease at Twickenham."

After watching most of the game on tele just now, the English team look totally lethargic compared to the other Southern hemisphere teams. They have no pace in attack, absolutely no creativity, nobody challenging the defense. I bet the Wallabies are happy to be playing the Slam after such a bad Tri-nats. It makes them look good, lol.

I also thought it was funny that a bbc news article said Wilkonson was AMAZING. Kicking 9 points is amazing? I suppose if you're used to English rugby maybe. Hey England, there's this guy named Dan Carter, recently returned too. He laughs at your 9 points. Especially in an international game so focused on kicking.

I heard we had a lot of players out injured. Did we really miss them? Either way it shows we do not have depth in our squad.

"Argentina’s long push for inclusion in the southern hemisphere’s blue-ribbon tournament gained unstoppable momentum when they finished third in the 2007 World Cup, ahead of both New Zealand and Australia, despite the lack of regular international competition. SANZAR, the governing body of the Tri-Nations which is made up of representations from New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, today made a conditional invitation to Argentina to join the tournament in three years’ time, although the move still has to be approved by the tournament’s broadcasters. “To have the Pumas join with the three top-ranked international teams in world rugby will be exciting for fans, players, sponsors and broadcasters across our four countries and beyond,” Andy Marinos, the SANZAR chief executive said. “They play a different style to the All Blacks, Springboks and Wallabies and their inclusion will see the Tri-Nations evolve to be a truly southern hemisphere championship.”"

"Dean Richards has resigned from his position as director of rugby at Guinness Premiership side Harlequins. His decision comes after the one-year ban given to Tom Williams for faking a blood injury in last season's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Leinster. The club was also fined £213,000 by the European Rugby Cup panel. Richards offered to step down during the process and a club statement on Saturday confirmed that his decision had been accepted. Williams has lodged an appeal against the sanction with European Rugby Cup (ERC)."

"BUENOS AIRES, June 27 (Reuters) - Argentina's World Cup captain Agustin Pichot brought the curtain down on his playing career in emotional style on Saturday at CASI, the club where he started as a youngster. Pichot, who led the Pumas to a remarkable third place at the 2007 World Cup in France, played the last of his 72 tests in the 34-10 bronze-medal triumph over the hosts in Paris. The former Richmond and Bristol scrumhalf spent the post-World Cup season with French second-tier club Racing Metro 92 before being coaxed out of retirement by Stade Francais, the club he first joined in 2003 and with whom he won the title in 2004 and 2007. However, the 34-year-old was injured in April and decided to finally call it a day. "This celebration was for my friends not for me," a tearful Pichot told reporters after being carried off the CASI pitch on the shoulders of the players and surrounded by fans who poured on to the field. "There were about 80 friends here playing for the fun of it. I'll never forget it.""
