AddSaying a person disagrees with the President is solely because he is a black man and whites want him to fail is an insult. I agree and disagree with Obama's policies and initiatives. Same with former Presidents Bush and Clinton. I don't recall being called racist for disagreeing with them. The political discourse in this country has fallen to pretty low levels over the last ten to fifteen years. Let's not cheapen even more. - Steve

Add We feel the same way. God has way too much to take care of. I like the thought that God has given us the power and tools to solve our problems. That's His help to us. - Steve

Getting sued by your football team - http://www.publicradio.org/columns...
AddYou go, Dan Snyder. You're a stand-up guy. She should have realized that she is part of your revenue stream and not giving her share places a huge hardship on the team. Stupid fan. - Steve

The Health Care Debate Isn’t Really a Debate - http://www.bold-words.com/the-hea...
Add Thank you for being level-headed. The rhetoric has gotten to the point where I just tune out any discussion about health-care reform. It's come down to how demonic can one side make the other appear. Sad and nauseating. - Steve

New and old ghost towns - http://www.publicradio.org/columns...
Add I keep seeing more and more stories about this happening across America. It's sad. Had to figure that we were over building in suburbia. We just can't sustain that type of sprawl. - Steve
Steve
Add wow. How simple of a life is that? Can't imagine my son, or kid's today in general, being excited about spending a day picking berries. - Steve

Add I totally believe a professor getting millions for a textbook. The same book cannot be used for more than one year due to new editions being released every year. I completely agree that there is a better way than forcing students to shell out $1,000 every semester for useless books. - Steve

Is It Who You Know or What They Know? - http://darmano.typepad.com/logic_e...
Add The cynical part of me says, just like Hollywood or any other industry, who you know (and blind luck) helps more than what you know. Many have attained great heights based on their connections and not their knowledge. It is nice to see an "A-lister" like David showing concern for listening to everyone, not just the short list of social media rockstars. - Steve

When Layoffs are Immoral: Randy Cohen in The New York Times - http://bobsutton.typepad.com/my_webl...
Add a note I like the line, "...but when people claim to be more ethical than others, it always make me squirm..." It really drives me nuts when an armchair quarterback smugly claims the moral and ethical high-ground. - Steve
