Whether cooked over coals or under a broiler, tender halved baby artichokes have a delicate yet concentrated flavor and a crisp exterior. This quick and easy recipe was developed by Hunter Lewis.

word! I love both styles/feels. They look fantastic when they're fresh:)

BTW, I missed if Lindsey ever gave a translation for hers. I saw her tweet with the phonetics, but not the meaning.
- Grey Drane
from IM
Yeah, I don't think she has. She told me in an email. It's quite fascinating as the word can be read forwards and backwards. Forwards it has something to do with the meaning we make, related to the question "What do I know?", and backwards, it means the opposite, "what don't I know?", so both those questions related to the same experience, like a Zen koan. I think that's close.....and I might have gotten the backward/forward part wrong:P

Very cool. Nice complement to your IS tat, eh? BTW I saw a photo of that (on Facebook, I think). Looked good. Was that the permanent one already, or just a trial run?
- Grey Drane
Yeah, I had the meaning, but it took way too much to say in English and could not be adequately described in a short phrase. Stu's language is perfect for what I want, and it's beautiful.
- Ryan Oelke
So what does it say? And does Stu hold any distance learning courses in Is? ;)
- Grey Drane
well, I sent the following to Stu and allowed him to interpret into Is. I haven't chatted with him to see if it's more to the word or in the spirit of what I said. Either way, it's all good:)

I'm trying to capture a paradox within this verb. Generally speaking, it's this non-dual mix of ascending and descending currents (see, you can't even say that shit right in English). Love without wanting. This is really only half of what I'm trying to say, more the ascending current, but it applies equally to "all beings", as well as say your lover. both a surrendering and a giving. To...

some how Temple of the Dog was one of those CDs that lived on in my iTunes after I completely stopped using CDs:P Their one of the few grunge-ish bands I still listen too.

really? i know the guys behind the podcast and i think they're cool. you must have rubbed them the wrong way. why call them materialists in the first place? but banning you seems to be not a good call. then again, i don't have the context of your discussions so i can't form a better opinion.

producing those podcasts are not cheap. they have to make ends meet. they do it because they're passionate about sharing the dharma. but the reality is that there's no going around money. either you make money (directly or indirectly), or you don't. they're exploring ways to continue to do what they love and offer it free for the general audience.

Please!! First off, there's no such thing as "banned" with a free podcast. You were never banned because there isn't such a thing. You can still listen to the show like everyone else. Yes, you asked us to transcribe our episodes and we said no because it was too costly for us. You were insistent and yeah, we invited you to pay for it. We might not respond to you via email, if that's what you mean by "banned".

@Gregory: "different frequencies"? that's New Age talk! if i can speak with you and communicate with you, chances are we're at the same frequency :) we're all in the same "frequency" that's why we can have this conversation.
