"most of these attack mainly through the registry, and I've got Microsoft employees to admit that MS recommends you don't use the registry in your programs, and yet they still use it themselves! Its like saying don't smoke with a lit cigarette in your hand! If microsoft would rid themselves of the registry half the viruses out there would be null and void, but they're afraid of programmer backlash and major software not upgrading. I'd like to remind them that at the turn of the millenia they changed their file system, removing compatibility from thousands of programs, but they did it anyway...hmm seems like everyone still uses windows!"
