Just import your Plurk RSS feed into Friendfeed, and volia! Plurk and Friendfeed are one!
- Danny J. Palmer
But but... Then I wont get plurk icon to my posts!
- k00pa
k00pa, it's just an icon! A small picture that won't mean a lick of difference in the greater scale of things (at least in this case). The link goes to Plurk...if your mates are smart enough, they'll know how to go the rest of the way. ;)
- Danny J. Palmer
It acts all funny, though. Goes to plurk.com instead of plurk.com/user/my_user_name unfortunately.
- Arron Washington
Although I suppose FriendFeed is aware of Plurk's popularity and is simply waiting for an API to do things 'properly.'
- Arron Washington
Well you can't have it all...in time I reckon they'll support it, and as Arron said, they're probably waiting on an API to do a proper job of it. But in the mean time, it works for me.
- Danny J. Palmer
I still want a pretty Plurk icon on my RSS feed, even if it doesn't actually make a difference in the usage. The blue-ugliness of FriendFeed may be the main factor preventing me to use it more.

"If you’re like most people, you use Google’s products several times a day to search for information, check email, get a map and lots of other useful functions. What most people don’t know, however, is just how many useful tools Google has out there than can make everything from tracking a package to creating and publishing webpages a breeze. Here are just a few of the products Google offers that may be worth giving a try."

As a former environmental geologist and more recently from living in the EU, I would categorically say they do not. What is more, it will be extraordinarily difficult for them to learn to be so. The consumerist nature of the American psyche simply does not equate into conservation easily. Living here in Germany now, it is easy to see how these people embraced green, believe me recycling and all other aspects of this attitude are ingrained into their daily routines. Not so simple in the US - Always...Phil

I would say we do not, many times over. With all my EU work/travel each year, we make little pocket attempts but no real impact

I read an article on Bloomberg about Jamie Dimon- seems he always carries a piece of paper in his pocket which is divided in half - on one he has Things Owed to him ( by people) and on the other he has Things I owe. I have begun using this in tandem with a TTD list and its kind of evolving. Guess it a like a Waiting For - but it also has the part where you are a part of someone elses's Waiting For , in the column Things I owe

Easy! Just copy the "stale" next actions to another page in the moleskine or to an entirely new moleskine (leaving those empty projects for another day.)
- Czar
Find the projects that I don't want (or need) to do anymore, remove them from the projects lists and remove the actions. If they're getting stale, there's a reason you're avoiding them, so why not get rid of them if you can?

Right, both tools have diff strengths and weaknesses. Still not sure I see a mass exodus from Twitter to Plurk, most are falling behind the A-Lister bandwagon and running off to FF, it seems.

"However, in recent weeks I have started using Gmail as much more than an email host. With its gobs of storage, speed and tremendous search/tagging capabilities, you can transform it into a personal nerve center that's available from any computer or mobile device. When you tap into this power and combine Gmail with some other tools, it is perhaps the most essential site ever developed. Most of the following life hacks have not been documented. This series has several parts... * How to turn Gmail into a massive personal database (Gmail + the Google Toolbar) * How to get real-time news updates in Gmail (Gmail+ Google Talk + Twitter) * How to automatically store your bookmarks in Gmail (Gmail + del.icio.us + Yahoo Alerts) * How to manage Calendar and To-Dos in Gmail (Gmail + Backpack + GCal + GTalk + iMified) * How to blog from Gmail (Gmail + Wordpress/TypePad/Blogger + IMified)"

My Master's was related to finding ice on the Moon, so I'm totally stoked about ice on Mars. Congrats again!
- Jason Ziglar
Note to FF. This post is a perfect example of a serious noise problem. It's the 4th consecutive post by the same person about the same story. I love the news itself but I don't need to hear about it four times.
- Richard Shulman
Whoohoo! Was keeping my eye on some chunks of bright stuff & they disappeared! Sublimated! So it can't be salt, it's ice: http://phoenix.lpl.arizona.edu/
I call bull on most of that article. Most of my Plurks don't get responses because I don't write the kind that encourages feeedback (also, no friends :P) and my Karma rises 1 or 2 points a day. Most of the rest of the points seem nonsensical as well.
